I've been a customer for a few years, and I couldn't recommend Deen and his team more highly. Every time I come here, I am able to relax and switch off. I am looked after, and my (often rather tricky) hair needs are always met. I like fashion colours, and I change my look quite frequently, and Hairmoves Frankston always deliver exceptional results. Came here for the first time last Friday — and wow, they were busy (apparently a standard Friday for them!). Georgia washed my hair before Kim cut and styled it. I’ll admit I started getting a little worried because I’d planned for an hour-ish appointment, and although I was seated and washed straight away, Kim wasn’t available until about 40 minutes in. That said, she was so sweet and really understanding. Luckily I only wanted a trim of the dead ends and to keep my existing style, and she absolutely nailed it. She even curled my hair in under 15 minutes — and the curls lasted a full 4 days, which never happens for me! The salon itself is such a vibe. Love the TVs playing music videos, it makes the whole place feel fun and energetic. As someone who hates going to the salon and gets pretty anxious, I actually felt comfortable and relaxed because of the atmosphere. It was also really nice witnessing the interaction between Deen and the team. You can tell they all work hard, support each other, and genuinely enjoy what they do. Will definitely be coming back. My friend recommended this place to me after she received a botched haircut from another studio and they fixed her hair beautifully. I’m someone with 4C hair that was miss cut and a pain to deal with, and ended up getting a permanent straightening. It was such a relaxing experience, with multiple hair dressers going through my hair and I never felt an ounce of pain. They were incredibly informative about the process when I asked and my hair has never looked so shiny and soft after a relaxer. Everyone is also genuinely kind, I really recommend this studio if you need hair done!

I had given up finding a hair dresser where I could get my hair done and walk out happy. As in genuinely happy and not the fake smile because you are embarrassed to say you don't like it. Kim and Dean are amazing! Actually all the staff are welcoming and talented but I get my hair done by Kim and Dean coloured my hair once and they are top tier artists! I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else! *Edited Nine months on I continue to be a regular customer, I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Sit back, enjoy a glass of wine and prepare to be dazzled
