I was in Hamden today and couldn’t get my usual cut back home in Stamford, so I looked up a spot that opened early. I’m really glad I found Hamden Barbershop. I ended up in Ali’s chair, and he did not disappoint. He’s professional, easy to talk to, and clearly knows what he’s doing. The cut came out clean, sharp, and exactly how I wanted it. If you’re in the area and want a quality haircut, go see Ali! You won’t regret it.

Ali Glass is a excellent barber. He did a great job and was very friendly. He gave my son the best fade he's had so far!! I'll definitely be going back!

Great place. I’ve been coming here for a year already. All good people here and they all know what they’re doing. Ali is the best barber I’ve had. I’ve never been able to find a consistent barber before but I haven’t had to worry about that since coming here.

I just took my son to the barber shop for his very first haircut, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Olley, the barber, was absolutely amazing. He was so patient with my son and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we walked in. His warm and welcoming demeanor instantly put my son at ease, and to my surprise, my little one didn’t even cry! Olley took his time and made sure my son was comfortable every step of the way. The haircut turned out great, and the entire experience was so positive. Highly recommend Olley for anyone looking for a skilled and patient barber, especially for kids!
Maggie Louis — 5/5 (via Google)
I called very late in the evening to see if I can get my son and my brother a last minute hair cut and Ali took us immediately and did not stress the late arrival. Best hair cut ever. Both Ali and his coworker (sorry forgot his name) are top notch barbers. Those cuts were stark. I will definitely be coming back. May I add the place is very nice and clean. Very nice friendly individuals.
