I've been getting my hair Japanese straightened for 10 years and have been to several salons. The experience I had today at Hayato with Tatsumi was by far the best! I will definitely be switching to them as my go-to salon for straightening and haircuts. I also can't wait to try their head spa treatments. Fantastic experience!

After doing some research, I have finally gave in and tried the famous Japanese Scalp Treatment and I am grateful I tried it with Hayato NY! The staff was attentive and welcoming and the space was full of hardworking people whilst maintaining a quiet, peaceful ambiance; that I rarely see in most salons. I had the pleasure of having Daichi work with my hair. We had a thorough assessment of my scalp and my history, and he explained the step by step process, the products that he will use and what to expect/feel once they were applied. The execution was full of professional, caring and executed with skilful techniques. Another assessment of my scalp was done post treatment and the results were amazing. It made me realize how neglected my scalp and hair was before. I also appreciated tips for aftercare that I can do at home so that I can continue and maintain a good hair and scalp care from now on. Definitely another addition to my self-care! Thank you Daichi and Team!

This was my first time at this salon. I am really glad I found this place! Mina cut my hair and she did a great job. I have thick asian hair and my haircuts are often very long. She was able to finish within one hour without cutting any corners. She gave me exactly what I wanted! I highly recommend!

As always Tatsumi(Tim) was amazing cutting my hair. I go back to him from last year and everytime Im so happy. every detail of cutting hair is a masterpiece. He’s the best professional. Thank you Tatsumi and Hayato team. also administrator Lady is very sweet.

It was my first time at Hayato. Although it looked a bit dated, the service was exactly what I was looking for. Great shampoo experience and Mina my hairdresser was a super Japanese stylist. She listened to what you wanted and then offered her opinion. Highly recommend for a true New York Japanese hair salon. Thank you!
