I had an amazing experience here! The staff was incredibly professional, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The artist did outstanding work and paid great attention to detail. I’m extremely pleased with my tattoo and the overall experience. Highly recommend this shop!

My husband and I took a trip to Durango and decided on a whim that we wanted to memorialize this birthday trip. We walked into Heathen’s with no expectation (recognizing that good tattoos usually take a little more time and planning). We were greeted by Jason, who helped us figure out a realistic design given the last minute circumstances, and got to work on my husband while Derek worked on me. The shop was clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We absolutely love our simple but meaningful tattoos. This is only my husband’s second tattoo. His first experience (in another city) did not go well. This experience was the complete opposite and he left feeling good about the design and the experience. I would absolutely recommend this establishment and would love to return in the future (maybe with some more planning lol) to get more work done.

Been going to Derek at Heathen Tattoo for years. Amazing artist, super clean shop, and unmatched creativity. One of my favorite things about his work is his ability to sneak a skeleton into anything! He is truly a master at bringing ideas to life. Everyone else in the shop is super friendly and down to earth, so you’re in good hands no matter who you’re working with.

I came into town from Chicago and spontaneously decided to get a tattoo. Derek (the owner) was AMAZING! So friendly, great quality, and pricing was accurate (comparing to Chicago). He offered to touch it up for free if we ever come back to Durango. I HIGHLY recommend Heathen tattoo!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon traveling through Colorado and decided we wanted tattoos to commemorate our trip. Jason was amazingly accommodating and gave us exactly what we were looking for! We couldn’t be happier with his work. The atmosphere of the shop was great. It was extremely clean and you could tell these guys take pride in their business! Highly recommend booking with them if you’re looking for quality work in the Durango area!
