I cannot recommend Heinz Schumi enough. For years I have struggled with my hair. Heinz is not just a hairdresser he is an artist and his reputation as one of London’s best is richly deserved: a master of his profession. What was quite unique was also the emphasis he placed on the need to preserve the health of hair. I highly recommend you book yourself in - nobody cuts hair & nobody will care as much about the health of your hair as Heinz Schumi.

Heinz has been cutting my hair for about 25 years. His haircuts are precise and often referred to as ‘stunning’. His cuts grow out well and still look great after 3 months! Linda is excellent at styling the cut. I recommend Heinz Schumi and his team. The salon is conveniently located opposite South Kensington tube station.

Heinz has been cutting my hair since 2001 when I moved into St Luke's Street, a few doors down from his salon at the time. I immediately knew I would never go to anyone else, and have enjoyed visiting him in all his subsequent locations. There is no need to explain, he knows exactly what you want, and apart from the excellent haircut, there is the bonus of his great chat. It is like dropping in on a dear friend and I hope we can continue the arrangement for decades to come. Nathalie also gave me some great colour tips.

Mr Heinz is a master of scissors. When he cuts my hair he pays full attention to every detail and takes time to shape it the way it suits me and my personality. The overall result is always great and I leave his hair salon with a beautiful haircut admired by many of my customers. Mr Heinz is not only a fabulous hair stylist but also a warm and friendly man. He presents an outstanding dedication to his customers and treats them like friends; whenever you visit his hair salon you feel welcome and almost like at home. By talking about Mr Heinz I can not forget his assistant Melanie who is very friendly, attentive and dedicated to her Master and his professional mission to make people look pretty and happy. Mr Schumi is a master of his art(s). Heinz handled my curly/frizzy mop in a totally new way and finally I have ‘wash and go’ tresses! This is a major win in say to day life. Thank you Heinz! My hair was: 1) cut dry while standing for curly hair length check 2) washed beautifully 3) scissors out for precise styling. (Don’t ask me how he does it!). 4) gently dried to allow curls a chance. Heinz listened to my needs/wants and never made me fear he was taking off too much length. After the fab chat and a great cut I left feeling amazing. My true joy came after my first home wash! I FINALLY have a haircut I don’t have to play with. It just does what it is meant to do and looks great. I know I won’t go anywhere else again. Why would I?! Highly recommend!
