Long over due review but had an amazing time. I got tattooed by Tanner and had a wonderful experience. He worked with me on my idea and drew up something that fit perfectly with my other tattoos. The process was quick and the price was right. Absolutely will be coming back ! Thank you again !

I’ve been going to Tanner for about 3 years now for my sleeve. He is without a doubt the BEST tattoo artist I have ever been to. His shop is immaculate, so inviting & welcoming to everybody. His artwork is out of this world & so unique to each individual. Also, Tanner is a super cool freaking dude. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!! I constantly get stopped to get complimented on my tattoo, I even had another tattoo artist from 2 hours away recognize Tanner’s work & totally fangirl for a couple minutes. Absolutely recommend Tanner Drake, you will not regret it ☺️

I finally decided to commit to getting my first tattoo and I could not be happier. I’d followed Tanner Drake on social media for a while and over time, fell more in love with his style. Tanner is a super cool, accommodating, and compassionate artist with boundless talent. I really appreciated how he empowered me to speak up if I was uncomfortable, needed a break, or wanted to make changes to the initial sketch. I tend to be on the shyer side, so that meant a lot to me. The shop itself was very clean, beautifully decorated with art from various artists, and comfortable. They also provide some snacks and drinks for folks who need it (and who doesn’t love a treat?). All of the other folks at the shop, including other clients, were also super kind. The other artists are all very talented, sweet people who were nice enough to chitchat with me too. Definitely helped to distract from the pain! I will absolutely be coming back to get more work done in the future. I’m glad I waited and found an artist I could trust to throw some wicked art on me. Excited to show the piece off once I’m healed up :)

Amazing first tattoos for both me and my daughter, all thanks to the incredibly talented Ash Franks! We decided to get matching mother-daughter tattoos, and the entire experience was nothing short of wonderful. Ash took the time to really listen to what we wanted and perfectly captured the sci-fi theme that means so much to us. The attention to detail was impressive, and the final designs turned out even better than we had imagined. It was a special bonding moment made even more memorable by Ash’s professionalism and friendly demeanor. I highly recommend Ash for anyone wanting meaningful, beautifully crafted tattoos. This experience truly celebrates our unique bond and shared love of sci-fi. Thank you

In 2019 I made a discovery of an artist in Chico who will forever hold a special place in my tattoo journey Tanner Drake. Not only is Tanner amazing at tattooing, he’s also extremely professional, communicates with you, and gives nothing but respect any and every time I’m at the shop or sending an email. I feel seen and heard when working with him to creating a design. His prices will ALWAYS be worth it. You get what you pay for and every time I walk out of his shop I feel like I just won the lottery. The shop is clean, not cluttered and he has a fridge fully stoked with drinks and great snacks. Relax watch some anime and enjoy the experience. Here are a few pieces he’s done with me throughout the years. Note, the small 444, butterfly and lady with a face are the only ones NOT done by tanner.
