I’ve gotten my hair cut here a few times now and I know I’ve found the only place I’ll go to in Chattanooga. Frankie is super nice and she does a great job. Very accommodating and the best place to go that’s LGBTQ+ friendly :) Edit: I’ve been going to Frankie for over 7 months now. She never disappoints! :)

I’ve gone to so many barbers in my 30+ years and they never get it quite right. It’s to the point that I have been nervous about getting another cut. I have thick, but mostly straight hair, which I thought would be easy, but what do I know? I ended up letting it grow for about 3 years just because I was avoiding another bad experience. I came to Frankie armed with only a couple photos of what I wanted and she nailed it. Like I didn’t even have to ask her to adjust anything at the end. The most happy I’ve been about any haircut I’ve ever gotten by far! I don’t think I’ll be waiting quite so long next time. 5/5 would get in the chair again!

I loved getting my hair cut at High Five Barber Shop! Found this place from an online search for queer-friendly barbers in the city and that made me feel at ease - the atmosphere and Frankie's friendliness also contributed to a feeling of safety and relaxation. Frankie gave me an awesome fade that looked just like I wanted it to - showed her a couple reference photos at the beginning and talked about how I like my hair to look and she knocked it out of the park. I'll definitely be back!

I really enjoy this new place. Jonny always does a great job with my haircut and has been cutting my hair for a while.This new barbershop is awesome, across from Tremont Tavern in North Chattanooga. I appreciate how caring the staff here is. They take their time with each client. I love it. Also, these are also very skilled barbers offering shaves with straight razors and can shape beards and haircuts. Their skills are unmatched in this area. I have had a beard and shaved. Also, I use a majority of their products they offer, their products are excellent and competitive pricing for such a quality product.Thank you Johnny and to the staff for making a trip to the barber such a positive and fun experience and really caring about your customers and offering such great cuts. I love the new place and environment. Thank you.
