Customer Reviews for Hilltop Tattoo Company
Eric Degenfelder — 5/5 (via Google)
First time at this place and it was such an awesome experience. My artist, John, is an expert in his craft. He was polite, professional, and priced his work more than fairly. The other two artists I saw during my experience there were of the same caliber. All of them (John included) took the time to talk through client pieces to ensure the customer was happy with what would be going on their body. I got an American traditional piece from John. He produced some of the best, most even, consistent, and solid line work and shading I have ever seen. The shop, although small and with a completely open floor plan, was clean and tidy. I've already got another appointment lined up and will be going back to John for more artwork in the future. Side note: the music playlist they had going was killer and had variety.

Absolutely amazing experience! The artist (John) was professional, talented, and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. The detail and precision in my tattoo exceeded my expectations. The studio was clean and welcoming. I couldn’t be happier with the result!

My husband and I are honeymooning in Joshua tree and decided we wanted to get tattoos. I haven’t had one in years and he had never had one. George and Rando welcomed us and put him at ease. They drafted us up something better than we imagined and we are so in love with their work. Highly recommend. Professional, welcoming and a good time! Thanks for helping us make a special memory! - Danielle and RJ

Hilltop is awesome and Rando is the man! I had a great experience from start to finish. Rando made the entire process comfortable. He took the time to explain things I wasn’t aware of, answered my questions without rushing, and really listened to what I wanted. The tattoo turned out even better than I expected. I was so happy with it I immediately scheduled a second appointment for the following week. He made sure my vision came to life while also offering helpful input based on his experience. I definitely recommend Hilltop to anyone looking for quality work and a solid, respectful experience.
Amanda Ochoa — 5/5 (via Google)
From the first interaction on Facebook until after my appointment, the customer service was great! Cormack was very friendly and helpful with designing a small tattoo. It always speaks volumes when an artist can still care about the little tattoos. The ones that don't challenge their creative minds. He don't mind when I wanted to adjust the design or the placement. He seemed very patient the whole time. Great conversation and easy appointment for sure.
