About Inception Tattoos
The discerning eye immediately recognizes the caliber of work at Inception Tattoos. This San Antonio establishment doesn't merely provide services; it offers a precise application of body art and piercing installations. While many businesses approach tattooing and piercing as a transactional exchange, this shop treats each request as a specialized project, meticulously transforming client visions into lasting realities. Customers receive not just a design on skin, but a carefully executed piece of personal expression, ranging from intricate custom tattoos to expertly placed, sterile piercings, all performed with exacting standards.
Visiting Inception Tattoos feels less like a casual walk-in and more like entering a professional studio where craft is paramount. From the initial consultation, where ideas are sculpted with thoughtful consideration, to the final, precise application, the process is characterized by an almost surgical attentiveness. Patrons experience a controlled, hygienic environment, a testament to the staff’s rigorous training and respect for their medium, rather than a hurried, impersonal experience. The atmosphere conveys a quiet confidence, born from a deep understanding of anatomical considerations and artistic composition.
What truly distinguishes Inception Tattoos is the profound depth of expertise across their service team, which collectively represents decades of dedicated practice. Not just individual skill, but a combined mastery that ensures every intricate tattoo and piercing installation in San Antonio is approached with seasoned judgment and unwavering precision. This level of technical acumen, rather than merely artistic flair, underpins their consistently high customer approval, reflected in a remarkable 4.9/5 rating from 151 reviews. They have earned the community's trust through sheer professional excellence, not just popular appeal.

My husband got his tattoo here months ago by Matthew & we were happy to catch him today for a couple touch ups! He also did my son's first tattoo today! He is an amazing artist as well as a tattoo artist. This was my first time to meet Matthew but he has known my step daughter for many years & has done most of her tattoos! I am excited to be getting my first tattoo soon by Matthew!

Very nice shop with a good atmosphere, I came in as a walk in for a navel piercing. The owner Roxanne did my piercing, she took her time making sure the placement was even and good for the anatomy of my belly button. Pricing is very fair and they are a family owned business. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back for future piercings.

Matt Diaz is AMAZING at what he does. 8 have 5 tattoos and he did them all. I refuse to go to anyone else. I use to drive from Schertz, now I drive from Seguin to get a tattoo from him. He is very accommodating and makes sure you are comfortable and okay while get your tattoo. He checks in with you during and after he's done he makes sure you love the tattoo. Need something fixed? He'll do it. Notice that the outline is too big or too small before getting it? He'll fix it until you are satisfied. He also does free touch ups to ensure the art looks amazing as time goes on. I got my tattoo touched up today and I made remarks about certain areas that I wanted redone or the ink just didn't stick, and he did it all. Very down to Earth guy! I highly recommend him. Plus if you went to Clemens High School, like me, you might remember him. I won't give too much away on when, except I'll say it's between 2005 - 2008 that he graduated, as did I.
