Can I book multiple services in one appointment?
- Yes, INSTYLE HAIR STUDIO typically allows clients to book multiple services during a single appointment. What should I do before coming for a perm?

I had such a wonderful experience at INSTYLE HAIR STUDIO! The staff were friendly, professional, and truly listened to what I wanted. My hairstylist took the time to make sure every detail was perfect, and I absolutely love my new hairstyle and color. The salon is clean, cozy, and relaxing—I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone in Pittsburgh looking for a great hair experience!

The BEST salon experience I’ve ever had!!!! Not only were they meticulous about my hair and had the kindest attitude, they helped me put on clip on extensions I’d brought on my own purely out of the kindest of their hearts! Such a warm environment, reminds me of home

Great place for asian haircut in town. I have been coming here for years even after I have moved up north… It is totally worth it driving 2 hours for a haircut with Afeng who is the owner and my stylist. If you don’t speak Chinese, make sure you find someone to translate for you. Or, use ChatGPT to communicate with them:)

I appreciate the promptness I received as a walk in. I appreciate the owner Feng knows how to cut Asian hair better than many American salons. He cut to desired length, thinned bottoms to add body above, added face-framing long layers, blew out, refined the layers again, and then shortened bangs with fine scissors. I loved the attention to detail. Cost $40. This is reasonable for Pittsburgh. Highly recommend if you have Asian hair, and need a quick haircut and don't have time to book ahead with your regular stylist. And another barber cut my 2 teen boys and they both liked their fade. Cost $30 for each son. Remember to bring cash cause its more if you use credit card. Be forewarned this business awkwardly does ask for a tip. Lastly this place is also great because it is located in heart of Pittsburgh's best authentic Chinese food.

Absolutely LOVE! Stylist: Changjin Chen Wanted something completely different than what I normally have (long layered hair) but was scared about trying this place for the first time because of the reviews, but honestly the best hairstyle place I’ve ever been to. Called 10 minutes ahead to see if they had a spot available, too exactly 1 hour from wash to finish, was only $40 without tips. I got a layered bob with face framing pieces and bangs. Even though I didn’t speak Chinese they were so sweet and patient. Was a little nervous at first because I was the only female when I entered, but they were all so respectful. The hair wash and conditioner smelt so good I can’t describe it. And my stylist was so delicate with my hair, took his time but was also very prompt, and also asked at every step if it was at the length and style I liked. Overall walked out so so happy with the results! For all of the bad reviews: I would say they either have never had any experience around the Asian community, were rude to their stylist, or maybe they just so happened to get a bad stylist 🤷🏻♀️ Tips: if you don’t speak Chinese, bring in reference photos what you want. Be patient because it’s not like their gonna suddenly know what you want when you walk in. Bring cash or have Venmo/Zelle downloaded. And call in advance to see if they can fit you in (they don’t really take names, you give a time and show up on that time…like a honor system). Will 100% be coming back.
