She takes the time to listen, gives honest advice, and makes you feel comfortable and valued every visit. You can tell she truly loves what she does and prioritizes the health of your locs. First time I came to this shop, I was very excited to bring my mom and get her hair done. Midge (the owner) is like a celebrity! Everyone in Chicago and beyond knows her for her hair skills is she is awesome with short haircuts/styles. Her other stylists are good too and it’s like a big family! Love the environment, the shop is gorgeous and although it’s far from where I live, I don’t mind the travel for such good service! You won’t regret it!
