Frequently Asked Questions About Journey Hair Company
Does Journey Hair Company in Akron offer color correction?
- Yes, color correction is a recognized specialty within their complete service portfolio. The stylists examine previous dye buildup and hair integrity before formulating a step-by-step restoration strategy. Because multi-stage toning and lifting require individualized pacing, it is best to inquire directly for current availability and consultation scheduling.
What should I do before coming for a perm?
- Arriving with clean, detangled hair free of heavy styling products allows perm solutions to saturate evenly. Avoiding deep clarifying treatments or aggressive scalp scrubbing right before the visit helps prevent irritation during application. You should mention any recent chemical processes or box dyes during your preliminary consultation so the stylist can adjust the chemical formulation safely.
Can I book multiple services in one appointment?
- Combining treatments such as a haircut alongside deep conditioning or color service is standard practice at this salon. Pairing services ensures that finishing blowouts and shaping complement fresh chemical processing in a single visit. Scheduling multiple procedures depends on stylist block time, so clients typically confirm combined slots in advance.
