I was looking for a loctician in Brooklyn ( coming from NappStar) and I found this gem of a salon nearby my house. I was lucky to book a same day appointment . From the shampoo to the style I was very satisfied with the visit. Lael took her time and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommended

Jus locs gets the job done. A Sure spot for a clean retwist in an authentic brooklyn setting. The salon offers a true home grown experience. For starters It's set in a beautiful brownstone in the heart of bed stuy. The loctitian greets you with a warm welcome as the smell of her oils embrace you at the door. You can tell she has a happy kid and you can hear pets which made me feel even more comfortable. It's not cold and cliquey as some salons can feel. She has a huge tv with cable for your entertainment and a courtesy water fountain. Most importantly she's patient and listens to your interests/concerns as she inspects your crown she makes soft suggestions explaining not everyones hair journey is the same and thats the beauty of being a loc empress. This mattered to me because I've had loctitians insist on interlock at the start of my journey after I made it clear im not interested in that technique. Now 5yrs in and my locs are approaching my behind they are thick and I receive compliments on daily basis. Keep in mind I only retwist 5-6x a year. There was this one time out of my 30 visits i had to wait 25mins for a wash because we all showed up around the same time that day some came early some came late some came unannounced and she managed the full house like a pro she made short notice arrangements for her child and prioritized her clients. Aesthetically it does appear she's in between a salon makeover she's asked opinions of paint colors and our feedback for improved experience Excited to see the finished product
