What an amazing salon! It is so hard to come by full service salons that offer braiding, i also noticed they do perm rods and silk presses as well. Truly a one stop shop. Wash and blow dry was included as well as hair- you just need to make sure you come with detangled hair. All of the artists there are really nice. I was taken care of by Ryan who was extremely personable and catered to the guests experience. I love that even though it was my first time, i know i will be back- and wish I found them earlier because it was tough to find a GOOD braiding place in central jersey. If youre thinking about booking it just do it! I told Ryan I am usually so introverted but we talked the whole time. Very pleasant experience. 1000000/10

Since moving to NJ from NY, I was nervous about finding a new natural hair care salon. Boy did I luck out when finding this gem of a place! The salon is clean, has lots of open light, the music is always on point, and it just gives off peaceful and warm vibes. I have been coming here for about 7 months now (since May of this year) and let me tell you, K. Skye never disappoints. My first new client experience was great. My stylist for the first couple of visits was Nyasia but after she went on maternity leave, I started seeing Kaylin. She hooks me up every time! She’s great with explaining things to me and both her and her mom (the owner, Belinda) are very knowledgeable when it comes to educating clients on the importance of maintaining their hair so that it is not only beautiful but healthy! I love whenever it’s time for me to go again and get my hair done! lol Everyone that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so far (Nyasia, Kaylin, Belinda, Latoya, Mya) have been so welcoming and kind and have also done a great job with my go-to double-strand twists. I must say that since stopping the previous hair care products I was using and now only using the products at their salon, I have seen a huge difference in the way my hair feels and looks. I’ve noticed less shedding and breakage, more length, more fullness and more shine. Overall, I am thoroughly pleased and thankful that I’ve found this place. From being initially nervous to having more trust in their hands is very satisfying. I would highly recommend coming here! You won’t be disappointed!

I had my first appointment a week ago with Belinda, and I can't wait to go back! I was in search of a hair salon that was experienced and a stylist that could educate me on the condition of my hair since I am starting my natural hair journey. That is exactly the experience I had at this salon. I was a little anxious because of the state my hair was in, but Belinda reassured me by taking her time to explain everything to me during the consultation and throughout the entire appointment. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting. I would definitely recommend!
