I got my haircut here for about four years while I was stationed at JBLM. I tried out a few other barbers in the area and nothing else really compared to the steady professionalism and quality of Kim’s. I never once had to worry if I was going to get a bad haircut like so many other folks around me who went elsewhere - I knew I’d be taken care of here. Just make sure you bring cash as they are cash only.

I’ve gotten very few haircuts on post after basic training. The few times that I have, the experience has always gone wrong. They usually rush through the haircut, can’t fade, or do the opposite of what you asked. This place is the exception. Mr Kim is on point. 16 years of experience really shows. It’s honestly a hidden gem. Quality haircut with AAFES price. You can’t beat it. I ended up switching barbers and he’s now the guy. Highly recommend.
