I just moved to the area recently and hadn't quite found my "place" to get jewelry from yet. All of my piercings are somewhat new (fully healed), but I haven't looked into good quality pieces yet. In swoops King of the Bay Tattoo. I looked around on Google and found them and saw the fantastic reviews and that they offered piercings. So I took the chance and called. Lizzie answered and not only did she let me know they could accommodate me, but that they also carried titanium (which was exactly what I was looking for), and they could anodize as well. They also carry real gold, which I plan to slowy switch to in the future. I decided after this stellar call that I would stop in and get a piece for my conch as I've been wearing a retainer in it for a few days due to a missing stone in my other (not titanium) piece. I ended up with a gorgeous cluster piece that is absolutely gorgeous! Of course Lizzie helped me through the entire process and was as fantastic as she was over the phone! I will definitely be coming back when I'm ready to go full rose gold! Thanks Lizzie!

Carmen has done all my tattoos on my right arm over the past 2 years. I’m always leaving the shop happy with the art! Everyone is so kind and treats me like family when I walk in. This is the best place to get your tattoos and piercings done in Calvert county! Please go to King of the bay if you want beautiful, well thought out and well drawn tattoos and attractive looking piercings!!

💯 Bridgett was wonderful to work with. I can't say enough good things. We met twice before my tattoo appointment to talk through what I had in mind. I didn't have to give too much detail for Bridgett to understand what I was going for and bring it to life in a beautiful way. I adore the art she designed for me, love the placement, and I'm just so happy with the finished product. Huge bonus: she is just a lovely person. Still fun to chat with after 6 hours! 😆 Will absolutely be back for more ink if she'll have me! Oh, and as for the shop as a whole: Very clean and well organized (felt good about the equipment and safety protocols; staff was professional). Good atmosphere. Everyone was polite. Cash deposits needed when scheduling an appointment for a tattoo but goes towards the total and there's an ATM on site. With the exception of the cash deposit: card, cash & touch to pay all accepted.
