Valentine’s Day was about self-love for me this year, and Laura's Fashion Hair Braiding Salon made it special. Normally my braids take 4–5 hours and start around $260. Not this time. They finished in less than 3 hours, my hair is absolutely gorgeous, and even after leaving a big tip, I still didn’t pay what I normally would elsewhere. At one point, three beautiful women were working on my hair — laughing, joyful, and happy to be there. That kind of positive energy is rare and it made the entire experience even better. Professional. Efficient. Talented. Affordable. If you love braids, this is the place to go. I’m beyond satisfied.

I decided last minute to get my hair braided, and after being turned down by several braiding salons and individual suite owners, I came across Laura’s while scrolling Facebook reels for braiders in my area. Let me start off by saying not only did they have last minute appointments available, but they also responded to my inquiry at 11pm at night within five minutes of me sending a message or comment on their page. It was my birthday on February 6th, and I wasn’t sure I would be able to do something for myself this year just due to the economy and things being so expensive. I arrived to my appointment right after they opened and was greeted by Mrs. Laura and her other stylists with such warm smiling faces. I mentioned that it was my birthday after sitting in the chair and Mrs. Laura instantly wished me a happy birthday and began on my hair. She brought another stylist over to assist, so I had two people working on my head at the same time. For reference I asked for boho knotless medium sized waist length braids. The service was extremely easy to book via her website, and the confirmation email as well as her website offered great insight and instructions on the details for my appointment. Since they also provide the hair in the service I was relieved as I wouldn’t have to drive around from store to store looking for good boho hair. All I had to do was show up with clean washed and blow dried hair. My edges are growing back from when I had micro braids several years ago, and Mrs. Laura saw this when she was accessing my hair. She even communicated to me her intention to protect them by making a few of my braids around the sides of my hair in front a little larger as far as the parting to ensure that my edges are protected and weren’t being pulled individually by so much tension. I never experienced any pain during my service and I never once felt like anyone was u professional or rude. She offered me something to drink as well during my service. I cannot recommend this salon enough! Lastly at the end of my service, they surprised me with a birthday cake. What I thought would just be a normal appointment turned into a small birthday celebration at the end of my service. I want to thank everyone so much for the hospitality and for just going the extra mile to make me feel special. My daughter and I have found a salon that we will return to and prioritize for all of our braiding needs! I am usually very shy and kind of quiet around people I don’t know but I felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed at this salon which made me want to engage in conversation with Mrs. Laura. If you get a chance and need your hair done this salon would be my number one recommendation! Thank you Laura’s Fashion Hair Braiding for making my birthday so memorable, and for the incredible, beautiful, boho braids. I have received so many compliments on my hair! Never had braids so Pretty! Christiana was super fast, Michelle is an expert in corn rolls and Mrs Laura made sure that i was completely satisfied with my knotless braids! My hair was prettier than the picture i presented to them! i had a wonderful experience with these ladies

Best Shop in HOUSTON hands down!! This was my first time coming here and when I say I will never go to another shop in Houston except this one ☝🏾 I mean that. Super professional! Clean Shop. Great vibes. Clear communication . Good attitudes. And most importantly Gentle hands. 🙌🏾 and fast work. I love it here!! I got the waist length small knotless braids and they shampooed conditioned blow dried and braided me up. Got done with wash & blow dry at 8:30am and was done braiding me down by 1:24pm . I love it here ! Will definitely be returning.
