Customer Reviews for Lawncrest Nails

I had to get a manicure and pedicure fast do I decided to stop here. I got a gel manicure and a spa pedicure. I asked the guy if he had polish that match the gel and normal colors since I wasn't getting gel on my toes. Jen did an amazing job. Although they didn't talk to me it was cool since I had to take care of some business on my phone. I also got my eyebrows done which was quick and she did a good job. I notice that my toes looked more orange and my hands a hot pink. They said it was the same but going to my mom's to clarify what I thought. All in all it was cool. Parking is okay if you can find a spot, it's street parking. The card machine was down so you had to take money out of the ATM or come with cash.

$40 for the nail powder (dip powder). The wait to be seated and start my nails was 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon around 3PM. I suggest coming when they're less busy. The owner finally sat me down and soaked my whole fingers in acetone to remove my previous nail powder color. My fingers soaked for 40 minutes. Then she did a rough manicure. I suggested that she use cotton balls soaked in acetone to prevent the nail polish that melts in the acetone from adhering to skin. Normally, an acetone soaked cottonball is applied on top old nail powder and is contained and held in place by a small piece of foil. Their lazier method wastes acetone and made a sticky mess all over my hands which needed additional time to be cleaned off. Owner-lady thinks her method is faster. 😂 Then Owner-lady passed me on to a short-haired gentleman employee at 4:15 who then carefully and gently finished my manicure, he skillfully applied 2 coats of nail dip powder, quickly buffed and sealed everything precisely, all while maintaining a cheerful, friendly, and talkative attitude. He even scrubbed the acetone-dip-melt residue from all over my hands off as best as he could and suggested "warm water". 🥲 Bless. I give him 5 stars and the overall experience 4 stars. Well done to him! My nails are smooth, shiny, and uniform. I left him a 38% tip. Here are some photos an hour after I returned home from the salon. I cleaned my whole house and did dishes-- and my nails are intact unscuffed. This is why I love dip powder.
