I can’t recommend the Liberty & Frank team enough. After such a hard start to 2025, with a fire affecting their previous space, Sophie and the team still went above and beyond to make sure their clients were looked after — which truly says everything about their dedication and care. The service is always amazing, the team is so welcoming, and the salon space is absolutely gorgeous. What really sets Liberty & Frank apart is their genuine focus on hair care, not just colouring, styling and sending you out the door! They have made me feel so confident throughout my hair loss journey, always supporting me with thoughtful, realistic ways to help, education and never making me feel alone in it. An incredible team, beautiful space, and a place where you truly feel cared for. I can’t thank Sophie and Lyneal for all their support this year. Highly recommend!!!!

I cannot recommend Liberty & Frank highly enough. The salon is beautiful, and Lyneal is incredible! She’s knowledgeable, friendly and always takes my inspo pics and vague description and turns it into hair I’m absolutely obsessed with every single time! I’d feel confident seeing any of the girls there, and I look forward to my appointment every time!

The girls at Liberty and Frank are absolutely lovely! The service is amazing and they are all so incredibly friendly from the warm greeting at the door to the wonderful hair washing service and the talented stylists there is nothing I would critique. Amelia did a fantastic job on my hair, she worked hard to give me exactly what I was looking for.

Liberty & Frank in Hawthorn is hands down my favourite hair salon. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed into a clean, chic and genuinely fun space where you instantly feel looked after. Owner Sophie has created something really special here, and Lyneal is a true hairstylist extraordinaire. She really knows her colours and absolutely nailed my full head of foils—expertly done, beautifully blended, and tailored perfectly to my hair. The salon uses gorgeous, high-quality products like Olaplex, Moroccan Oil and Teknia, which makes such a difference to hair health, and I love that Liberty & Frank is also a sustainable salon. It’s clear they care about both their clients and the planet. Every visit feels like being treated like a queen. I always leave feeling confident, refreshed, and genuinely educated on how to maintain my hair’s health between appointments. I’ve been coming to Liberty and Frank since 2021/2022, and I can wholeheartedly say I love this salon and this team. Every interaction and every visit leaves me feeling more beautiful than the last. My hair has been on a real journey, and during a rough patch where I experienced hair loss, I was met with nothing but kindness, empathy, and genuine care. I was truly in capable hands. They supported me through it all and helped get my hair to where it is now, growing faster than ever, bright, healthy, and beautiful. It can be so hard to find a salon that truly gets it, but Liberty and Frank absolutely do. They listen, they care, and you can count on them. It is the only salon I have ever been able to say, “I trust you,” and genuinely mean it. I have put my full faith in this beautiful team and have never once been let down. Every time I visit, I know I will have a laugh, a great cup of tea, a lovely chat, and I will walk out feeling more confident and beautiful than ever.
