Lisa’s Perfect Cuts Last week was my fourth anniversary coming to Lisa’s Perfect Cuts on El Camino Real in Sunnyvale, CA. Tina has been my hairdresser since day one. I still remember that day. She was just finishing with a customer and promptly greeted me. We’re off to a good start, I thought. After four years, what I admire most about her are her customer relations skills. They are genuine and consistent. She’s not the owner, but she could have fooled me. In my opinion, she greets customers and interacts with them as an owner should. Her 30+ years working there undoubtedly contribute to her mindset. When I taught human resources management to graduate students at a university, the first day we introduced ourselves. I noticed a few students seemed disinterested to listen. So at the end of introductions, I commented if people don’t interest you, perhaps you should reconsider your career choice. Tina is clearly interested in hair and people. One day a customer was serviced by another hairdresser. Before leaving, this patron asked Tina to touch up a spot, and she cheerfully did. She isn’t perfect though. Twice she cut my hair too short, and once she didn’t cut the sides so my ears would remain warmer. This was a nice gesture, but the next day my cut looked and felt unbalanced. She invited me to return to the salon to rectify this. In my lifetime, I’ve had two long-term hairdressers of 20+ years each. I prefer to remain with someone “tried and true.” Tina enjoys her profession and it shows. I even referred neighbors to her. I don’t do this lightly, as my reputation is important to me. I also don’t write reviews, unless I feel strongly about a person, product or service. She fulfills two of three here. The charges are very reasonable. For a man’s haircut they charge $15. Lis is a great human being and good hair dresser. She loves to talk and very soft spoken. You don’t need an appointment, just go there and generally the wait time is about 15-20 minutes

Aunties there are really nice. For some reason despite requesting basic cut 30 mins after the listed closing time, they still let me in which is a plus. Would recommend overall
