This was the best cut/color experience I’ve ever had. Julia is truly a master of her craft! The attention to detail and time/energy she took to give me exactly the look I was after - it’s obviously about more to a just hair here. Both she and her assistant Kyla (and mascot, Porter) were so friendly - vibes were high, wine was flowing. The place itself felt trendy/elevated but still warm and homey. Do yourself a favor and book some you time to get pampered at Locks and Loaded!

This was my first time at Locks and Loaded, and it was a fantastic experience! I had Kyla for a haircut, and she was so amazing. She was knowledgeable about how to cut my long, fine, straight hair and did such a good job blending in some long layers, “ghost layers,” and face framing pieces. I don’t like to style my hair, and she was able to make layers look so good on my natural hair. She was also a joy to talk to during my haircut. I even got a free drink during my visit. 100/10 would recommend Kyla and this salon!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I’ve lived in Fort Collins for a few years now and have been trying to find a person and place that fits my needs of my hair. Julia H is an amazing hairstylist and takes her time to make sure your hair is to perfection. She listens to want you want and does it perfectly! The place is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly!! It’s a very warm and inviting place.

had an apprentice haircut with Kyla, supervised by Julia, and it was a great experience. No unnecessary frills—just attentive, thoughtful service and a haircut that really delivered. I felt listened to, comfortable the whole time, and genuinely cared for. You can tell there’s strong mentorship and pride in the work here. I’d absolutely recommend Locks and Loaded and would happily come back.
