About Loop Barber Shop
Traditional skin fades and precision tapers anchor the service list at Loop Barber Shop, where gentlemen grooming meets everyday practicality. Patrons can expect standard cuts alongside beard trims, with the shop accommodating kids and offering wheelchair-accessible facilities throughout the building. The appointment flow feels unhurried, moving from a quick check-in to the chair without unnecessary delay or waiting room congestion.
Entering the space reveals a layout designed for comfort rather than spectacle. The seating area allows for relaxed waiting, while the station setup ensures privacy during the cut itself. Staff handle the transition from consultation to completion smoothly, letting clients sit back and trust the process without hovering or rushed interactions.
A 4.8 rating across 130 reviews suggests a steady reliability that keeps locals returning. Neighbors often note the consistent quality of the work, particularly regarding clean lines and sharp necklines. This trust builds slowly, rooted in the shop’s adherence to classic barbering standards rather than fleeting trends, making it a dependable choice for Louisville residents who value precision and punctuality.

Just a great and easy place to get a legit haircut without a hassle. Plus...I love the vacuum set-up they have to get rid of hair after the cut. Worth it. Been going for years.

My son loves this place, even though he does not love getting his hair cut. They do a fantastic job and magically manage to get my 5yr old boy to sit still enough to get a nice fade with a strait line, even around the ears. Clean and has a very cute vintage decor.

Returned for first time since Covid shut-down---- and it was like returning home! Staff as friendly as always and extremely good barbers. How in the world they managed to return my hair to "normal" is beyond me..... Thank you and I look forward to returning. Rich
Nick Terrell — 5/5 (via Google)
I always look forward to getting my haircut at the loop. The laid back atmosphere is perfect for those stressful days. The staff and owner are as friendly as they are skilled, and even remember my name. It does cost a little more, but in a day and age where a coffee can cost 7 dollars, I don't mind spending a little bit extra for a superior experience and result.
Natalie Walters — 5/5 (via Google)
Favorite place to go. Terry knows my cut and is very good at understanding what my friends are asking for. We always look phenomenal. Usually little or no wait. Very friendly. They have toys for kids to play with too. Great prices, not rude or pushy. Love this place.
