Customer Reviews for Love and Pain Tattoo and Piercing Studio
Zoe — 5/5 (via Google)
After a really bad experience with Claire’s (the forbidden place), coming to Love and Pain was such a breath of fresh air. I had been searching locally and couldn’t find anywhere that felt as professional, qualified, and reasonably priced as Love and Pain. From scheduling the appointment to actually getting pierced, everything was smooth, easy, and stress-free. They were very knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the whole experience comfortable from start to finish. I strongly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a safe, professional, and overall great piercing experience!

Ricky and Shelby offer a wonderful, welcoming sanctuary and refined skill, attention and love in their work. In two recent trips to the US from Australia, Ricky is the only person i feel is qualified in the US to ink the sacred art im interested in. So I make the effort to get to this studio in AZ for the beautiful tattoo art they create. Thankyou both for this great treasure of your art , passion and beauty you share.
Lauren Delfeld — 5/5 (via Google)
I visited from out of state and reached out to inquire about availability. They were extremely accommodating and responded promptly. We exchanged ideas via text and quickly finalized the details. On the day of my appointment, the check-in process was smooth, and I was taken to the table without delay. I absolutely loved the tattoo and appreciated the comfort and professionalism both artists provided throughout the experience. Would reccomended them to family and friends.
Emma McAllister — 5/5 (via Google)
This place was so amazing, so welcoming, and talented. Best prices for small tattoos in the whole area, made me pay 50 where everyone else would have made me pay 100. They were super sanitary, and have great quality ink. I’m scared to get touch ups done anywhere else because the new ink will fade. Will definitely be back! Even if I have to fly back. Edit: They warned me that palm tattoos bleed and they were not joking, but they give free touch ups after. So I will go back to hopefully have it stick better this time. *The photo where my tattoo has faded says nothing about Love and Pain and is a warning to think hard before getting a palm tattoo as no matter what you do they bleed!*

Visit Ricky and Shelby for your tattoo and piercing needs. They have a lovely little shop and a warm vibe. Both are compassionate and thoughtful about ensuring you get the perfect piece for your body. Ricky was so thorough and attentive to my little arm piece. He was gentle and wielded his tool with great precision. Both are caring, generous humans and it was a pleasure to drop in and work with them! They even came and supported our derby team. So much love.
