Luis does a fantastic job. Bring cash, there's a $5 card fee. Prices are very fair for a very good quality cut ($35 cash for a fade/cut on 10/09/24). Luis has lots of experience and did some razor cutting to help take some of the bulk out of my hair on top. As a queer woman, I felt completely comfortable - some barbershops get weird when women come in for a cut. Luis is kind, knowledgeable and talented - this is definitely my #1 spot moving forward. The shop has a nice old school vibe since it's been running since 1959, which is fun! Update: I've been going here for several months now for monthly cuts, and have been also getting cuts from David. He does a great job as well - he's very thorough and communicative. The photos of me in a teal sweater are from David's cut.

Luis’ Corner Barber Shop is a hidden gem in the ATX area! We loved the atmosphere, it’s super clean, the barbers are very respectful, funny and very knowledgeable. My friend's cut came out better than expected! ☺️ loved the retro decor, too.

This is the best barber shop ever. The men in this shop are so well experienced, kind and very welcoming. I love the way they keep my toddler boy calm to give him a great haircut. We have been coming here since my boy turned one and each time he sits quietly to get his haircut. Luis is the best! He has a way to make the kids stay calm and cooperate with him to get a great hair hut. I highly recommend this shop. Their price is also quite cheap compared to the.other barbing shops in Austin.
