Stations four and one are the best for nail design and shape! Pedicures are pretty much mediocre. I have not found a good pedi tech here yet. Nails I posted are about a week old. Done by station 4 ! I always get compliments on her work. I moved to Stockton from Santa Clara County and have been to 5 different nail shops out here. All trash. Magnolia is best ive found in Stockton so far!

I'll start by saying this is my first pedicure ever! My coworker is a regular and wanted to take me for my first pedicure. The area can be a little "run down", but plenty of parking. We walked in and they were semi-busy doing a couple manicures already. I read a lot of reviews for this place before coming and, low key, I was EXTREMELY PARANOID. I read how this place was FILTHY, RUDE, etc. I can confidently say that, while it is not the cleaniest nail salon I ever been to (and they used stained towels), it is overally relatively clean for me to feel comfortable I won't walk out with a disease or infection. As far as "rudeness", I would disagree. The lady who worked on my co-worker is very friendly and welcoming. The other employees do not talk much IN ENGLISH. I will stress that they do not speak a lot of English. Also, I am Vietnamese and I can tell you that (before they found out I was Vietnamese and could speak and understand), the only conversations they had was typical day-to-day chit chat. No one talking negative. HOWEVER! When my person found out I was Vietnamese, she told the other employees that I can speak the language and to be careful. Now, let's talk about the actual service. The massage chairs are strong. If you like massage chairs, you'd be in heaven like my coworker. My person made sure the temperatures were ok for me. Everytime she needed me to move my feet or change which was in the water, she gave a little tap. I kinda liked that she didn't talk to me much. She gave a nice scrub and massage to my feet and calves. She was careful with cutting my cuticles and toenails. She applied the gel polish quickly and relatively accurately. It was a pedicure with gel polish for a total of $55. I tipped her in cash individually and went to the front to pay for the service. Would I come back again? Yea I wouldn't mind. It is better to bring a friend to talk, but it was a nice time. I would recommend them for a decent pedicure. Would I come here for a manicure? I'm still unsure. I am very particular about my hands, but maybe I'll do an updated review if I do a manicure too.
