Lisa is amazing!!!! I recently made an appointment with her. First time customer. I was nervous because I have a lot of hair. With work and everything I have going on, I’ve been feeling burnt out and the idea of doing my hair was stressing me out. I found this salon and contacted Lisa. She took such great care of me! She is extremely knowledgeable and supportive. She talked with me through the appointment with tips and suggestions for my hair. Honestly she convinced me to not cut it as much as I wanted and I’m so grateful. I thought so much had to come off but she trimmed conservatively. She worked with me within my budget and I’m so happy with my hair. I haven’t gotten a cut from a skin is over 5 years and I will be returning to her!

Can’t say enough about Making Waves Salon! From the moment I walked in, Lisa and Calvin took the time to talk through what I wanted to do with my hair. Lisa cut my hair and the whole process I never once felt like my hair was too much (I have super long hair). She made feel super comfortable and took all the time on my hair, never once complaining. I love how Lisa explained what she was doing before she did it and made sure I was comfortable before cutting. I would highly recommend anyone at Making Waves Salon! I feel like words really don’t do them justice!

If you have a teen boy wanting the curly hairstyle that’s popular now but he has stick straight hair- come here!! We’ve been looking for a salon for a while and found Making Waves Salon and my son got exactly what he wanted. Lisa and Calvin did an excellent job and were so kind and patient with him. He found his new salon for both perm and cut!
