Customer Reviews for Manipulations Tattoos & Piercings

I’ve been going to Bert for over a decade and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my piercings. He did my helix in 2013, my tragus in 2025, and my third lobes earlier this year. Even though I don’t get pierced super often, he’s always who I go to!! Bert is very knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cares about his clients. He takes the time to explain everything and makes the whole experience comfortable. If you’re looking for a skilled piercer you can actually trust, he is for sure the one to see!

Bert has always done a great job with explaining in detail pros and cons of each piercing I’ve gotten from him. I’ve had several ear/cartilage piercings, nipples, septum, belly button, nostril all done and he’s always gone over options in regards to my anatomy etc and has several different metal options as well which is great because I’m sensitive to some metals. I’ve always had a great healing process as well with his cleaning recommendations! Highly recommend him for all piercings!
Grace Wilson — 5/5 (via Google)
I had my septum done a few years ago at this shop and it was done perfectly. My anatomy was checked, he made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole experience, was very friendly and professional, and I haven’t had a single problem with my piercing. I even stretched it one size up about a year ago and there was absolutely no issues. It was a perfect placement. Highly recommend this shop

Nipple piercings! Burt has done my piercings both time, (have had them done twice) and each time he has been very professional and respectful makes you feel so comfortable with is very important and is also knowledgeable with placement each time and honestly both time the healing process has been perfect! Definitely give him a 5 star!
laney accomando — 5/5 (via Google)
I have gotten at least 5 piercings done here on separate occasions, and every single one has been amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to anatomy, piercings & aftercare. SO professional and kind. He pierces SO FAST and precisely that the pain is so minimal and it’s over so quick. He has always made it a point to tell me to come straight back to him if I’ve ever been worried about infection or rejection from a piercing, or if I just needed help switching jewelry out. He uses high quality jewelry that has never caused me any irritation unlike other piercing parlors. I will forever recommend manipulations to anyone wanting a piercing 🤍🤍🤍
