About Massage Envy
Massage Envy has refined its approach over time to meet the specific demands of Plainfield's market. Clients often arrive with tight shoulders from desk work, leaving with a noticeable ease in their posture, a testament to the skilled therapists. The familiarity of seeing some of the same faces on staff, year after year, signals a place that values its employees, which inevitably translates to better care for its clientele; it's a welcome constant as seasons change. This Plainfield Massage spa seems to balance consistent service with an awareness of wellness trends.
What distinguishes this business is its ability to cater to both the quick lunchtime appointment and the more extended self-care ritual. It isn't just about the massage itself, but the overall experience, from the calming music in the waiting area to the warm towels post-treatment. Over the years, they have subtly incorporated elements that elevate the experience, like upgraded aromatherapy options and focused treatments that address specific pain points related to modern lifestyles. The consistent 4-star rating reflects this earned trust and a commitment to adapting to client needs.
From Swedish massage to more targeted deep tissue work and even revitalizing facial treatments, Massage Envy offers a menu designed to address various needs. One can schedule a hot stone massage to combat the winter chill or indulge in a refreshing body wrap as warmer months approach. Recently was headed up to the western suburbs from downstate and having some time to kill in between appointments, I checked online to see if there was a therapist available who specialized in deep tissue/firm pressure massage that might be available last minute and lucked into finding ANA at the Massage Envy Plainfield location! She is strong, and great at finding/working out knots, etc. I have been back a second time now and nothing but good things to say about my massage - walked out sore but felt great; neck, back and shoulders were much improved. Highly recommend Ana if you're looking for a firmer / deep tissue type massage (she can also provide more light pressure swedish style massages as well) She's a find as not all therapists can provide a deep tissue massage! Thanks Ana for beating me up, I'll be back for more!

The front desk lady was very kind and helpful with my mom's pickup from this particular location for her work. The front lobby is also a nice looking area. It's also nice that there are cups of water and free mints to take.

If you book with Monica you will thank me forever! She’s superb and I’m hard to please! Monica listens carefully and tailors the massage to exactly your requests. She’s a rare gem!

Massage Envy in Plainfield is absolutely amazing!! My souse and I both had a massage scheduled on a Sunday afternoon in Shorewood and our massage therapist had an emergency and was not able to do our appointments. However, Jamie went above and beyond to text us early that morning and make sure that we got rescheduled with a therapist that was able to do the pressure preference we had saved in our profile. When we arrived, we were checked in by their very professional and amazing staff at the front desk. Then came the massage with Nik! It was absolutely phenomenal and exactly what we needed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend that anyone looking for a massage to make their way to Massage Envy in Shorewood and ask for Nik!!
