My hair has been so stylish since I have found Paul my new hairdresser. I must have had 5 different styles with him and he has a talent… every time he has managed to work with my very fine hair and create something unique. A creative artist I’m my mind. I’ve just had mine done today so I’ll photograph it for viewing. I love this particular cut the best… it’s got some 20s, some 60s about it and a bit well unique to my own style.

Paul was absolutely brilliant, patient and a true expert in curly hair cutting and styling. He has tamed my daughter’s unruly curls and they look amazing! What’s more, he gave us advice and top tips on how to manage it at home. Would highly recommend.

Lovely experience at Material today. The salon has a relaxed, inviting atmosphere and having a very small team, the service provided seemed very personal, I didn’t feel like I was being rushed through. Paul took time to listen to my concerns and the result was a beautiful haircut which I can easily style at home. Plus a lovely head massage from Amelie! Highly recommended.

I have visited material a number of times and I cannot thank the team enough. Amelie was so lovely and friendly when washing my hair and Paul was so helpful in explaining what was helpful for my hair. My first experience was just a simple wash and straight blow dry and was simply amazing my hair felt so clean and smooth. The atmosphere in the salon was calm and relaxing I would definitely recommend. My second time visiting the salon I came in for a layered cut and cleaning up the ends of my hair. Amelie and Paul’s consultation was really helpful in knowing what was best for my hair and figuring out the lengths of my layers. This lead to a great hair wash from Amelie with a head massage and then started to prep my hair to cut it. Amelie was so precise and careful when cutting my hair and made sure my hair was the lengths I wanted multiple times , which I really appreciate. She then finished my hair off with a perfect blow dry and I left very happy with my hair. I will 100% be returning again, I couldn’t be happier with my new hair!
