Max always does a great job cutting my hair! The environment and atmosphere of the barbershop is perfect for children and adults. I always make an appointment on booksy.com to schedule my haircut, there are four barbers to choose from.

I brought my son to Max’s barber shop and I am beyond impressed and floored by his amazing skills, compassion and ease with my 7 yo with sensory issues. He was able to calm my son with his kind sense of humor, open conversation about school and fun topics and also checking in (with me and my son) to make sure that we are both happy with his first barbershop experience. I am not one to bogart any place, but I was pondering if I should write this review as I wouldn’t want ppl to flood into Maynard taking over our amazing town. Nonetheless, I have to share amazing experiences and skills when I have experienced it. Also I made an appt online- so that might help people of they would like to secure a spot as well. I love this barbershop. Here is why you will too: 1. You know when you have a place to get your hair cut and it just feels right? I had that place in Philly for many years and had a hard time finding that again when I moved to New England. This place did it for me. I feel like I have a place again. 2. The shop is often full but that's for a good reason. The barbers do fantastic work and the atmosphere is filled with conversation and life. 3. Easy parking access if you are driving and prices are extremely reasonable. They only take cash though so bring some or you can use the ATM in the shop. Give this place a shot, it's great.
