This shop is full of world class tattoo artists, some of the best you can find in the city for sure. I was lucky enough to be tattooed by Pony Lawson, who is an absolute magician with his needles. He doesn't need to be a very sweet and down to earth person - he would be booked regardless - yet he's wonderful to work with and attentive to every detail in the process. The end result is literally priceless, something I can treasure for the rest of my life. Can't wait to show my dad.

Our artist is Garrett and he's absolutely amazing. A true artist for sure with a strong attention to detail and an absolute perfectionist. We've had a few pieces done by him and my husband and I couldn't be happier. The rest of the guys are also amazing and are now part of our family. Pony, Raf, Tom and Gary are all brilliant artists and just a lot of fun to be around. The environment is so welcoming and chill.

I’ve been getting tattooed by Pony for 11 years and can’t imagine going to anyone else. He is honestly the best. Every piece has been perfect, and he always makes the process fun and super comfortable. The entire shop is welcoming and extremely talented, I will always recommend.

This was my 13th time being tattooed and my first here and lucky 13 is a real thing. I cannot say enough positive things about the entire experience. I was tattooed by Pony and traveled to Chicago from NC for it. My first major travel experience specifically for a tattoo. The piece is gorgeous and legitimately the most comfortable tattoo I’ve ever gotten. Honestly 0-1/10 pain through. It was like I was scratching my arm. AHHHHMAZING! But the experience itself was even more amazing. The artists and and other clients there were so much fun. I mean, it was like hanging out with some of the most chill people you’ve ever met in a great looking location. Envision going to a random party and everyone is awesome. That’s what it was like. My only complaint is immediately afterwards I looked up all of these awesome artists to see their work and now I wanna go back for a piece by them all. So time to save up because as someone who loves to collect art this a shop full of amazing artists! I hope they do some shows near me and I can nab spots with them because I hate flying but I’ll do it if I have to. They’re that great! Honestly, the talent level is only surpassed by the great atmosphere they create. I loved it. Start to finish.

Awesome, clean shop!! Highly recommend Mayday. Make sure to get ahead and book your appointments now as they fill up quickly. DJ does all my work. Very clean and professional Gent. One of the lightest hands in the business. He is superb!! Love that dude! Tell him Biddywax sent ya ;)
