I had a message and it was absolutely wonderful! Shoutout to Amber! She was awesome! My only comment is not to have a co-ed relaxation lounge. They should be separate like the locker rooms. Overall nice time.

First time at melt spa and it was great!!! Got a 80 minute therapeutic massage with reflexology. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. I immediately was greeted with a warm welcome and quick/easy check in. I got to specify what problem areas I have which were definitely focused on during the massage. I was also able to pay before or after, I paid before just so I could leave when done, then immediately was showed around the changing room and whisper lounge. You’re given a locker to put your belongings and to change in to a very comfortable robe and sandals. You can then go to the whisper lounge where you can have coffee, water and muffins and relax until they come to get you for whatever service you made a reservation for. They say to get there 30 minutes before your appointment, which I definitely think you should take advantage of to fill out your paperwork, change, and relax before more relaxation. The massage itself was AMAZING!!! The table was headed and extra soft and my masseuse knew exactly what she was doing. I mainly relaxed with the soft music in the background but we occasionally talked and she educated me a little on the reflexology as well. Once done, I was allowed to go back to the lounge but just got dressed and headed out but was asked how my visit was before leaving. The prices are definitely expensive but the service was well worth it. I got lucky and had gift cards but you do need to buy $5 on a credit/debit card to hold your reservation. Making an appointment online was very easy and the front desk is very helpful because I called ahead of time to ask a few questions. Overall 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend.

For the last 15 years my "go to" spa has been The Spa at the Hotel Hershey. Today I tried the Melt Spa. The online reservation link was problematic. Making a reservation by phone worked perfectly. Reception area: I was greeted and checked in immediately by attentive and pleasant staff. My information was confirmed and pricing explained. When finished, someone was waiting to escort me on a brief tour of the facilities. From there I was assigned a locker and given a robe and slides. (I had trouble with the fit of the slides and will bring my own sandals next time.) Relaxation area: I arrived earlier than necessary to enjoy the relaxation area before my service. (At The Hotel Spa there are separate areas designated for silence, whispering or normal conversation. I prefer the "silent room" which is a totally quiet no talking room.) Because there is only one guest waiting area at Melt Spa, the suggested noise level (between total silence and normal conversation) is posted as "whispering". This worked great when guests occasionally whispered. Then a group arrived and unfortunately decided to hold a continuous conversation well above whispering level. It was obvious that myself and others in the room were bothered by this, but the group did not adjust their behavior. Staff is in and out of that area constantly to tend to the refreshment supplies, but it did not seem like they were expected to monitor guests not whispering? Unfortunately I'm not sure how this can be resolved with only one waiting area. Service received: Cuban Immersion / technician Missy I have gotten MANY immersions at the Hotel Spa. I was assured that the immersion at the Melt Spa is the same except they don't have the overhead spray bar and you must get up twice and use the shower in the room instead. I was worried about this difference BUT actually liked the shower method better! Missy was my technician today and I would only come back for another immersion if I could get her again. I actually would also consider a massage with her since she made the massage parts of the immersion absolutely amazing. She was thorough, professional, attentive, personable and simply made my experience worth every penny. Thank you Missy! Ambience: I love the warmth and coziness of this spa. (The Hotel Spa is brighter and more spacious.) Soft lighting was conducive to a relaxing feel. All areas that I visited within the spa were clean and quietly maintained constantly. The locker area was a tight fit for more than 2 people changing at the same time BUT the shower area was spacious and the amenities plentiful. Honestly, if there was a way to provide a quiet room at Melt, I would choose Melt over the Hotel because of the smaller, cozier feel of the experience.

A round of applause to the Melt Spa, in Hershey, PA for giving my daughter and me a beautiful afternoon escape this past 11/11/25! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted like celebrities, surrounded by a comfortable ambiance and lots of those delicious Hershey chocolates! Special compliments to Gabriella who gave me the best manicure ever and to her mom, Cheryl, who gave my daughter a gorgeous pedicure. They are a mom and daughter duo who truly care about the care they give. Wonderful inspiring women who made our day so very special. Loved the stories we shared! Compliments to Sherry and Alison who also went above and beyond to make our day even more memorable! You can be sure we will be back and highly recommend if you ever get the chance to visit the Melt Spa on Chocolate Ave., Hershey, PA, go for it! You will have an incredibly special spa day!
