I have been seeing Kim exclusively for dip manicures for almost two years and she is consistently excellent! She has excellent attention to detail, care for nail health, and precision across the whole service. My nails remain healthy because she so carefully removes and applies the dip powder. the manicure lasts 3-4+ weeks without cracks/chips and I only need repeat services when my current set has grown out. She applies the dip powder where it feels sleek rather than thick and bulky. I cannot recommend Kim and Midcity nails enough!

Updated review: Midcity was very kind and addressed my manicure problem directly. My new manicure is much cleaner and looks amazing! My nail tech was Quy. 4 days after my “no chip” manicure, two of my nails are already chipping. Essentially zero cuticle work, so they already look grown out. Super disappointed as I paid $105 for my mani + pedi combo.

Not only does she do an amazing job every single time, but she’s also incredibly creative. She always comes up with unique and stylish designs that I never would have thought of on my own. Whether I want something simple and classy or bold and fun, Gina always delivers with flawless results. Her attention to detail is unmatched—my nails always look neat, strong, and beautifully shaped. On top of her skills, she makes every appointment a great experience with her warm personality and genuine care for her clients. If you’re looking for someone who truly takes pride in their work and can turn your nails into little works of art, Gina is the one! I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my nails after all these years.

Love Midcity! I love the online booking system which makes finding an appointment so easy. I’ve seen Gina, Mac, Rosie, Kim, and Hang and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is so friendly, professional and a perfectionist at nail applications. They typically have good music playing and HGTV or something similar on the TVs. Also, the receptionists are super friendly and helpful. :)
