Even with the unexpected power outage, Mimi’s took care of my friend and I for pedicures. Adding in amazing extra leg and foot massages to make up for the lack of massage chair and upgrades available. We will always come back here because they treat us so well even when things happen that are completely out of their control.

This place is so close to my house and I was able to walk-in with no wait at 3:00pm on a Monday. The ambiance in Mimi’s Nail Spa was nice - it was decorated beautifully, good music, and the tv channel was on something neutral but nice to watch. Nini did my nails and I think she did a good job. This place is a bit pricey - I got a full set of French tipped nails with a very, very minor design (20 dots on each ring finger) and it came out to $90. Overall, I’ll probably be back.

My nail tech, unfortunately I don’t know her name, for my pedicure was sweet kind and did a good job on my gel pedi. I had cut my nails too short before I went in so she didn’t have much to work with, but she made it work. Last time I ever do that! Lol. My nail tech was also sweet and kind, and the owner helped find the exact color and style of powder dip I wanted. Everything was going really well and I was very excited for the finished product until she put the final clearcoat on when you can really see how everything looks, and for some reason , there are speckles of powder that you can see and I think it’s from the last two base powder coats she put on top. She rushed through them, didn’t let them dry in between the activating coat, and I think that may have something to do with it. I’ve never had this style of translucent powder done before but the example they had in the book and what I’ve seen on the Internet… They shouldn’t look like this. And there are portions of my nail that do look clear and are not cloudy with powder so I don’t know what happened, but it honestly felt rushed toward the end so that could be why.
