I went for a deluxe manicure today.I really liked the staff and felt welcome. Esther was my manicurist, she was welcoming and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my session with her. What I did not like is the mini luxe nail polish. It started peeling and cracking after just 2 hrs and by bedtime it started coming off. Overall, it was a good experience except for the fact that the polish did not even last 6 hrs.

I will start off by saying the service provided was not for myself. I am a nanny, and took my 11yr old in for a special day. We arrived around 3:15pm on a Thursday. When asked to check in, we informed Jessica, at the desk that we did not have an appointment and asked if we could be seen. She informed us that it was a busy day, and normally reservations are required, but she would be able to get us in for a 30 minute manicure instead of the 45 minute service my Little was asking to get. During this conversation, someone else was in line, so we stepped aside to let her check in. Luckily for us, she was scheduled for an eyebrow wax (10 minute service) with My (pronounced Me), and My (Me) also happens to be a nail technician. Jessica was able to book the full 45 minute service with My (Me) and we picked out polish colors and waited in the sitting area for less than 5 minutes before the previous client was done with her waxing and My (Me) called us in. While I waited, refreshments were offered. Jessica realized I had never been there before, and informed me of all their services. There was a waxing special going on (50% off for 1st timers). She explained all their lotions and polishes available for sale. I understand it is her job to push sales, but she was very friendly, and not overbearing. The manager was in, and I would've never known, as he was sitting beside a client receiving a manicure, just chatting away like they were old friends. He knew several customers by name, and was just as personable with me as he was with everyone else. It was a welcoming experience. I think his name was Ricky (I apologize if I am wrong). He and Jessica had a fun tit for tat type relationship. They kept me entertained while I waited. Jessica shared pictures of her new dog. Ricky suggested services and the proper polishes for someone who's hands are always a mess (like mine) should get. While talking with the two of them, the 45 minute service flew by, and before I knew it, we were ready to check out. While checking out, Jessica asked how we heard about MiniLuxe, and immediately recognized the name of the person that recommended we go there, and not in a fake, just want to make you come back, kind of way. My Little was very happy with her special day, and I don't not get my nails done on a regular, but just might return for the waxing. The place was clean. Ricky was stocking shelves and putting up displays as we chatted. Technicians were quick, but not rushed. The customers rotating in and out seemed satisfied. It was an overall friendly experience.
