Hello 👋 I had the best experience at Mouna Hair Braiding. I brought my grandson in to braid his hair. (8 years old) My boy is mixed truth be told we didn't know what to do with his hair. Thank you, ladies of Mouna! I scheduled an appointment online, but decided to change the day because I wasn't sure I would have the time. I called the shop and they answered quickly and scheduled me for a different day no problem. I was a little late to the appointment (sorry) but I was attended to immediately and the stylists were very friendly and accommodating. I had already washed and detangled my hair at home, but it was still damp so they blow dried and combed it out. I asked for a knotless boho style and picked out synthetic hair with purple-to-white ombre, bra-strap length. They suggested using a natural black for the curly bits that stick out and that turned out to be the perfect complement for the bright color I chose. They did a sample braid on my hair and I was satisfied with that and the price we discussed, so they got started. It took about 3.5 hours and at one point I had three people working on me at once so I feel like it went by pretty fast for the intricate style I asked for. I wasn't sure what to expect because I haven't had my hair braided or hair extensions in over 20 years, but the girls were very helpful and patient and gave me some tips on how to maintain the style at home. I love my new look!
