I have been a customer at Nails Maxx for years - almost since they opened. There are so many talented manicurists and pedicures there that I just think you cannot go wrong when you make an appointment. One thing that is very important to me is the cleanliness of a nail salon, because truly so much can go wrong, but Nails Maxx follows very high hygiene standards. I have seen them open the packages of instruments direct from the autoclave, and throughout the day the salon is being cleaned multiple times. I am reluctant to write this next part of the review, though, and I will explain why if you read further. While there are many talented people here, Jason Nguyen is an artist beyond compare. I have reached a point in my relationship with him that I trust his vision entirely. He is truly an artist, not just a manicurist. He hand paints the tiniest of masterpieces and never fails to surprise me with his creativity. There have been several times where he has started something and I though “absolutely NOT” but I have learned to trust that whatever he does, I am going to love the end result. He is kind, thoughtful, hilarious and most of all incredibly talented. Now, as to why I was reluctant to recommend Jason (because this says a lot.) I strongly recommend you make an appointment with any of the other technicians at Nails Maxx. They are great. There are many among them who do a great job with interesting nail art and creative Color play. But please don’t make your appointment with Jason. It will just make it harder for me to get in to see him, and, well, I’m just selfish enough to not want that! Seriously, you cannot go wrong. Nails Maxx is a great place, clean, bright and friendly. And Jason is possibly the best asset they’ve got. They should be ensuring he is always happy, because he brings the business!

This has been my go-to nail salon for years, and they do an amazing job. I’ve specifically gone to Jason for about 2 years and adore him! He’s incredibly talented with specific designs, and is happy to give you ideas too. The salon is clean and professional, and provide a range of services, with tons of color options. I’d definitely recommend calling ahead, so you don’t have to wait, although they have a walk-in option too.
