If you're looking at the reviews right now to decide on if this is a good shop to get a piece done then let me tell you right now, you've found a fantastic place and should book with them asap. I got a neotraditionial grey heron done by artist Faith and it is, without a doubt, an incredible piece of art. Her linework is so crisp and clean, her color saturation is so full and vibrant, and her color gradients, shading, and blending all look so seamless. It's now my favorite tattoo and I can't wait to come back for my next one. Booking was very simple and easy (shout out to Hannah for being so helpful and accommodating, you're amazing). All of the artists working there were so welcoming, friendly, and nice throughout my entire session. The shop itself was very clean and has the coolest decor I've ever seen in a tattoo shop. I highly recommend getting work done here.

I had been following various artists of Nimbus Tattoo for a while since Chris House's tattoo get posted on Reddit from time to time. All the artist there are incredibly talented and I don't think you could reasonably go wrong with any of the artists. The artist I chose to work with was Maddie, dokidokitattoos. I had been following Maddie for a bit on Instagram before I saw that she was doing a collaboration with an artist I really liked working with (check out XanthianMoon if you're ever in New York) and I jumped at the opportunity. I want to clarify, I didn't just choose to work with Maddie because she was working with Xanthian; that just made stomaching the 10 hour drive a bit easier. The reason I worked with Maddie over the other very talented artists is because Maddie has a very unique style that I haven't seen replicated elsewhere. Her tattoos are ADORABLE. They're chibi in a way that makes your heart explode and want to melt all at once. The line work is incredibly clean, the colors are super saturated and contrast well, and did I mention her tattoos are so damn cute? As an artist, I particularly liked working with Maddie because she was extremely kind, patient, and understanding. Additionally, she was incredibly timely. I hear a lot that in the tattoo industry, you might wait weeks to months to hear back. I heard back from Maddie swiftly and she was extremely patient with my many questions. She's only been tattooing for 4 years, but the way she handled herself and her tattoos could make you think she's been doing this for 40. 10/10 would recommend working with Maddie again (and I will be in the future.)

If you want a tattoo, I can’t recommend Faith enough! She is an extremely talented tattoo artist and literally works magic. Faith makes sure the whole time you are at your appointment that you are comfortable. Her area is super clean & cozy! The shop itself is VERY clean and organized. All of the tattoo artists are also welcoming, respectful and kind. They all have their own style of tattooing and are definitely 100% worth getting a tattoo from! Personally, I have gotten 2 medium sized tattoos done by Faith. The process of getting tattooed & the healing were all great and smooth! Faith works with you to make sure you get the tattoo you want and gives you helpful advice on tattoo aftercare! Please go to Faith for any black work tattoos or cute colorful anime work!

Traveled from Nashville to get a back to back day forearm sleeve from Chris House. Man, where do I even start.. this place is great. The shop was beautiful and clean. The atmosphere there was chill and comfortable. All the artists and staff I got to meet were all really cool and friendly. After 2 days of getting tatted and hanging out, it was sad to leave and say goodbye. You would think I've known these people my entire life. When it comes to the tattoo itself, I couldn't be more pleased. Chris is an absolute monster! The art speaks for itself. I'm honored to be tatted by him. I'll definitely be scheduling more tats in the future. Thank you all at Nimbus for the good times.

Had an amazing afternoon with Mitchell at Nimbus! I don’t even know where to begin, this is the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. My partner and I received matching 333 tattoos. From the beginning he made sure that we both had the perfect design, size, and placement. Mitchell’s line work is stellar and he had an almost painless touch. Mitch and Chris both are meticulously clean, detailed, and all around just great guys to hang around. We have already set up our next appointment with Mitchell at Nimbus and l am looking forward to it 😊 Thanks Mitch!!
