Customer Reviews for North Jersey Tattoo

I can’t say enough good things about North Jersey tattoo. The space is really cozy and inviting and clean. The first tattoo I got done there was for Friday the 13th, and although I did have to wait a while (which was totally understandable) I didn’t mind at all. They play movies on the tv in the lobby and I was very comfortable while watching Godzilla. I chose which tattoo I wanted from the flash sheet, and Claire let me customize the colors. She was very patient, talented, nice, and professional. Yesterday I went back to get a memorial tattoo dedicated to my mom. I booked with Ashley and she was amazing. Truly a 10 star experience from start to finish. She spent so long designing my tattoo and going over everything with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. She continually checked to make sure I loved everything and was comfortable every step of the way. She was endlessly patient, kind, and understanding. She never rushed me, and in the end she created something that I’m obsessed with and can’t stop staring at. Both the tattoo and the experience that Ashley created mean so much to me. She is so talented and I want all of her art on my body. Thank you Ashley and North Jersey Tattoo from the bottom of my heart!!

What an awesome staff everyone was so friendly! Just got a tattoo from Jackie tonight she did an amazing job. I brought her a picture my son drew for me and she did such an amazing job tattooing it in my arm. I highly recommend her in fact my daughter is getting one and she will be going to her. Thank you Jackie you are very talented.

North Jersey Tattoo is hands down one of the best shops in NJ. Shawn and his team of artists are amazing at what they do and I promise they will leave you speechless. I've had the pleasure of getting tattooed around the country and this shop is hands down one of my favorites! The atmosphere is second to none, the artwork is awesome and the staff is incredible. I recommend Shawn and his team to everyone I see. Make sure you check them out! You won't regret it.

The atmosphere perfectly blends beauty with a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The carefully curated decor in the front area adds such a special touch—it’s the kind of detail that naturally draws you in, inviting you to linger and explore. My artist, Ashley is truly a rare gem. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also kind, genuine, and makes every conversation feel personal and meaningful. Watching her work is like witnessing art come alive—her designs are nothing short of magical, with breathtaking intricacy. The floral wrap-around tattoo she created on my arm is a piece—I receive countless compliments on it, and every time I look at it, I’m reminded how lucky I am to have had Ashley as my artist. This shop is so much more than a place to get inked—it’s a space where you feel truly cared for and valued throughout the entire experience.

Had work done by Jake last year and just went for another consult. He is so helpful with working with your ideas and offering different options to make your tat just what you want. He also did great work and is nice to deal with. Shawn, the owner, is very friendly too!
