B. Matt Dowling — 5/5 (via Google)

I like this salon the best here in town. I've been to all of them, I think. And each and everyone of them are awesome and in no way lacking. A major facet of this bigger picture has to do with my vulnerability to tickles and by extension, ticklishness at-large. Old Town's team is not psychic(or they are lying every time I bring it up). A coworker said that is silly & they remember me is all. A smile alongside a knowing nod of the head sent them on their way; the very idea of walking a simpleton to the understanding that psychics remember stuff all the time. Yeah, just like You & Me. Following this, watching their frozen eyes, unnervingly mirroring the inner apocalypse happening just behind them. Probably like getting a text from a friend saying they saw Cthulhu at the post office and Cthulhu said he is really upset with you and he, Cthulhu is gonna beat you down. And then he shadowboxed a few punches while his many tentacles shadowchoked and/or displayed what were clearly rude gestures, though a tentacle has no digits with which to impart nuance and meaning. But who cares, all of them are livid. You ask then what but dude says his turn came in line and then when he looked over Cthulhu was outside waving to an Uber he must've booked after entering the queue. Good planning. Maybe it was his girlfriend's car but dude says nah she has that green Pathfinder, plus he saw the Uber sign in the window and the driver was that Jamaican guy. Alas! Who am I to pop the delicate soap bubble insulating them? They also think floating through a rose garden, at the whims of a breeze or a capriciously launched sneeze is wonderful. And I agree, to a point, so I left out gravity, thorns. Nor did I mention the litany of logistical harassments that go hand in hand with daily life inside a soap bubble. Such as having soapy hands from slips & falls, no water or clean, dry towels. In an exasperated manner you rub those itchy, tired eyes. How's the view now? But I digress. I'm sure they do remember me, because everyone there is thoughtful like that. And my feet look and feel SO amazing. With a few forced giggles less, yes, of course it's what I wanted. And my feet feel so refreshed and focused after every visit to Old Town Nails, those same feet I've had as long as I can remember with their twenty little pals nearly talked me in to getting tap dancing lessons. They have a lot of colors too. I tried counting them but lost count at 32. That's why they arrange them by color. It's easier to lose the one you're on. But that's cool. There are some corners best left darkened, I surmise. Nothing like a bit of intrigue to spice up a Tuesday afternoon. Everyone should check them out.

Okay I know this is my second review, BUT I GOTTA RAVE ABOUT THE DELUXE PEDICURE! Worth every dime, long massage to start out, rose scent foot bath, rose scented leg scrub, (I did shellac gel polish) THEN more massages and paraffin wax. Couldn’t be any happier ❤️
