I visited Orchid Nail Lounge because it's so conveniently located in the same storefront as my favorite barbershop--Sean's Barbershop. I got my haircut with Annie first (LOVE IT!) and then welcomed over to the massage chairs for my pedicure. Kim was my nail technician and performed my pedicure. She was fantastic! I'll definitely be back. It wasn't clear to me what the differences were between "Basic", "Deluxe", "Royal", and "Volcano" pedicures (since I booked through Sean's Barbershop instead of Orchid Nail Lounge), and Kim helped me realize I definitely wanted the--albeit more expensive--Volcano pedicure, which consists of a scented, ash-like substrate added to the hot water foot soak and accompanying (aka same scent) massage cream. I was hesitant at first about the scent options--because most floral scents give me migraines immediately--but I got excited to eventually try ALL the options when Kim told me there is: honey, citrus/orange, lavender, and so many more. Kim checked in several times throughout the I booked my pedicure through the Booksy appt when booking my haircut. I received a text confirming that I now had an appt with Orchid Nail Lounge, which I didn't realize was actually a separate business from Sean's Barbershop, so it was helpful to find out later that booking directly with Orchid Nail Lounge will provide more accurate services descriptions as well as more accurate scheduling, since Sean's and Orchid's Booksy schedules are not shared. (I think it's a great idea to piggyback market like that. I do also think they could be a bit more clear about them being separate businesses and schedules, though. Just for clarity, so new clients don't get confused or upset--cause some people will find any excuse to have a problem with something.)

I’ve been going to Louie for over 10 years, and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my nails. She’s incredibly talented and always able to bring my vision to life. The salon itself is always spotless, service dog friendly (huge plus for me!), and has such a welcoming, relaxing vibe. Her staff is super sweet, professional, and helpful. They’re always adding new gel colors and designs, so there's always something fresh to try. If you're looking for beautiful, long-lasting nails, a clean and friendly atmosphere, and a nail artist who truly cares about her craft, Louie is the one. Highly recommend!

This is the best nail salon in the Bay Area! I struggled for so long to find a nail salon that provides quality work for a good price and I’ve finally found it. Louie, Kim, and Sarah are all excellent. Louie’s skill is unmatched. She can create any design that you show her. She’s also so funny, kind, and professional. Kim is equally as amazing. She’s incredibly talented. I can’t recommend this salon enough!! 🙌🏼🩷

Previous experience from Oasis nail salon: Still trying to understand how and why I was literally charged $125 for this…. Insane. It’s gel-x and I did have them remove my previous set but to be charged that much for nail shapes/lengths that DO NOT match in fact there are clear differences between my hands and they’re a super short set is just mind boggling! And let’s get into the shape yall this is suppose to be coffin 🫣🥴 im beyond disappointed to be completely honest this set was done by Lisa whom is very very sweet and cool but the length and shaping inconsistencies and how toilet paper thin she filed my nails was dramatic I’m sorry if this place didn’t give excellent pedis I probably wouldn’t go back no lie. Now I will have to find a salon to doctor this tomorrow and come out of pocket for more work I shouldn’t even have to pay for because it should have been done right the first time! I’m really upset I don’t think gel sets are their specialty and it shows….. if you guys want a great pedicure come here if you want a matching nail set shaped to perfection go elsewhere! ****UPDATE: I went over to Orchid Nail Salon today and they did thorough incredible work/shaping please see additional photos below for reference and contrast highly recommend them the shaping and symmetry of my nails is literally perfection! It’s night and day comparison for sure and for removal and fresh set they’re actually cheaper! Thank you Orchid nail salon you guys done saved my nail nightmare life!

Orchid Nail Lounge is one of the most consistent salons I’ve ever been to. Every visit starts with a warm welcome from Sean (the barber up front) and all of the ladies, which makes the experience so inviting. My nail tech, Kim, is absolutely the best!!! She knows exactly what I like and always delivers with amazing attention to detail and customer service. Highly recommend!
