John at Ovation Salon is fabulous. He does more than sell wigs, he shows each person empathy, understanding, and reassurance that it's all going to be ok. Losing your hair can be a traumatic experience, it can be disturbing. But he has a gift for knowing how to treat people going through cancer, and what type of wig would be just perfect for them. I'm so grateful for people like him who have been brought into my life during this journey.

I cannot recommend Ovation Salon & House of Wigs enough!!!! It's such a nice looking & inviting decor when you go in & the staff was so nice. I cannot thank John enough for EVERYTHING! Best experience ever! I have been losing my hair for a very long time but recently due to a surgery it has been horrible. I wish I had found John sooner because I have waisted so much time & money prior to meeting him. The time I spent with him I learned so much! I got a wig Topper & he was able to get it for me super fast! I cried when I saw it on because its been so long since I saw hair on me & it looked like my real hair used too. He made me look stunning for a party. I & everyone else were blown away. I can't wait to go back & see what else we can do to help my real hair get healthy again, keep learning from him, try new looks, & embraced being excited to look in the mirror again!!! Thank you so much John! This experience has opened me up & given me renewed confidence in the future for my hair & in myself!

I've been visiting this salon for years and refuse to go anywhere else. Alina is simply fantastic—she always does an incredible job with my hair. She's not only talented but also a genuinely wonderful person. The salon itself is spotless and beautifully decorated. The prices are fair, and every stylist there does a phenomenal job. My fiancé recently had his first appointment with John, and he looked so sharp for our engagement photos. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone.

I got my haircut by Jackson and John helped as it was a mess. I am very happy with how it has turned out. Thank you both so much! Very nice and caring and professional. Was relieved to find my hair wasnt,as bad as I thought it was. Price was reasonable. Cut and style.

My mom has lost about 75% of her long, thick hair during the first four months of cancer treatment and will likely lose the rest in the months to come. We tried to figure out a wig situation on our own using the internet, but it was beyond frustrating and honestly very depressing for both of us. Once the hair loss became noticable, we finally decided to book a wig consultation with John. We both fully expected to cry and have a miserable time picking out a wig since cancer sucks and the whole hair loss thing has been a painful, ever-present reminder of the toll it has taken on our lives. But to both of our surprise, it wasn't a sad experience at all. John actually made it kind of fun and shockingly easy. Like, REALLY easy. He definitely knows what he's doing! He also has an approachable, disarming personality that quickly melted through the heavy awkwardness we were both feeling. There was also NO trace of that icky, try-too-hard-to-be-sensitive-and-accidentally-make-it-weird thing that cancer patients have to constantly navigate with well-meaning people. He was just genuinely caring and kept it real and we ended up having a very nice time. We were literally DREADING the wig appointment, but left the salon feeling almost giddy--which was not on my cancer journey bingo card. My mom is also very particular and didn't have much hope of finding something she liked, but John expertly identified the right style and the perfect color for a price that was less than what I was expecting for the length and quality. He also cut it into her signature style and took the time to explain wig care and maintainence. I'm so thrilled to say that she looks like herself again (maybe even a little better)! Her fears of having a "fakey looking wig that slides around" proved unfounded. The dignity and confidence it has given back to her is palpable. She looks incredible. For me personally, this is the first time since diagnosis that the cancer feels like just another thing we deal with, rather than the grim centerpiece of my life. I wasn't expecting a wig to give me so much hope, but it did. Thanks for your help, John. Highly, highly recommend to anyone facing a similar situation. Or even if you just want a wig. Heck, I might get one for myself ;)
