PALS Lice Treatment & Removal Virginia Beach

I was contacted by my daughter’s (she is 7 and in the 2nd grade) school nurse informing me she had head lice. I went into complete panic mode. I immediately started searching online what to do for head lice as in the 48 years of my life we have never had to deal with head lice (it had to be the 4th kid). I found PALS online and immediately called them and left a message. They called be back within the hour and Julie talked me off of the ledge and stopped me from burning my house down to the ground. She was reassuring and walked me through what we needed to do and got me the first appointment possible to complete lice removal treatment. I was pretty sure I had it, too so I followed the same instructions for myself. The next morning with my daughter and son in tow, we showed up at PALS, not sure what to expect and my anxiety was more on tilt than ever. We were greeted with warm smiles and calming voices by both Julie and Vianca. They first wanted to screen my son to ensure he too wasn’t infected and thank goodness he wasn’t. Next it was my turn to be screened and low and behold I didn’t have lice either. Insert sigh of relief (I can keep my 48 year streak going for now). Because I am that person, I decided to get the mini “peace of mind treatment” done to my hair since I am always so close to my daughter’s head. I didn’t feel the need to do that with my son since he is never around. He’s like a mystical unicorn that only comes out of his room to feed or leave. Next it was my daughter’s (ground zero) turn. She was confirmed and Julie started prepping her treatment while Vianca was finishing me. Once I was completed, Julie washed, dried and braided my hair while Vianca went straight to work on making my daughter lice free. I chose to have what I like to call the “Mack daddy” treatment (they have different plans and price points to choose from) done on my daughter, which is the high heat treatment. I wanted a one and done solution and PALS offered that. We had great conversation and I felt so relaxed and relieved that these ladies were taking the stress out of my life. They had cartoons (Bluey) on for my daughter and had juice and candy in hand to made the whole situation less intense for my girl. She even received a princess crown when she completed her treatment. They also provide a pamphlet on what to do to your home. I honestly cannot thank Julie and Vianca enough. Thank you for treating us with such kindness and compassion and taking the fear and stress away from not only my daughter, but me, too. I I hope I NEVER have to deal with lice again, but if I do they will be my first call. Some pics of our visit to PALS.

I had a moment of panic on a Saturday morning, which is the worst because I expected nobody to be open!! Turns out that we had caught it just in time with just one, However, I cannot rave enough about how amazing this place was not only did they get me an appointment within three hours. They were so sweet and kind on the phone. On a Saturday!!!!! I would recommend them 1 million times over simply due to their amazing customer service!!

During a chaotic event these amazing people provide extraordinary service! Granting my family peace of mind. From the professional advice and treatment plans, to the wallet friendly options for any budget! If we ever need this service we will not trust anyone else. The employees at PALS were understanding and very helpful. They were gentle with the scary lice comb on my curly hair and were able to keep my two year old calm throughout the entire procedure. Will definitely return here if its ever again necessary.

Wonderful service with a great staff. The shop is inviting and they have all kinds of neat nick nacks and things to keep kids occupied during their check/treatment. My son and I were both checked and had a mild infestation. We opted for the best treatment which guaruntees our service the longest should the lice return. They answered the phone and had us checked and treated in the same evening my son was sent home. Now he can go back to school with a certificate. I was provided neat information and instructions on how to clean at home. This service is such a needed service in the community and PALS is the best!
