About Paragon Ink
What Paragon Ink lacks in big-city flash, it more than makes up for with artistry and meticulous care – something Gaylord has noticed. They are where locals go not just for ink, but for custom designs that really tell a story. Customers can get everything from small, meaningful symbols to full sleeves, with consultations always available to nail down the perfect vision. Beyond tattooing, they also offer permanent makeup services and body piercing, making them a pretty comprehensive shop.
A visit to Paragon Ink feels personal from the start. Unlike some of the more sterile shops, here it's more like walking into a friend's studio. They always take the time to discuss design ideas thoroughly, ensuring every client is comfortable and informed before a single needle touches their skin. The artists walk clients through every step, from stencil placement to aftercare, providing detailed instructions and answering all questions. The vibe is relaxed, yet professional, making even first-timers feel at ease, especially during the slower weekday afternoons. And one also notices the emphasis on cleanliness — always a plus.
What truly sets Paragon Ink apart is the ongoing investment in their artists' professional development. The owner makes sure the team regularly attends seminars and workshops, staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and safety protocols. This commitment to improvement is evident in the quality of their work and the confidence they exude. It's not just about churning out tattoos; it’s about creating lasting art and positive experiences. That consistent level of expertise, coupled with their genuine approach, is why so many locals keep returning, and why Paragon Ink continues to be a trusted name in the Gaylord community, demonstrated by consistently high ratings.

Customer Reviews for Paragon Ink

Rufus did my bridge piercing. I could not have asked for a more kind, friendly, and capable piercer. He is fantastic. The piercing came out absolutely beautiful. It was symmetrical and painless (for me! Pain tolerances vary between everyone.) Everyone is so kind and professional. While i waited to be seen, the gentleman at the desk gave me some paper to doodle on when i asked and water was provided. 10/10 experience. Thank you Rufus!!

Popped in today for a couple impromptu piercings (rook and cartilage). Rufus was awesome! Friendly and fast. Two things I always appreciate in someone who is preforming body mods on me. It was a great experience and I definitely will be back and will be telling others. Highly recommend.

I finally bit the bullet and had my first piercings done! Rufus did a fantastic job. Paragon Ink has a wonderful rep within my friend circle and now I can't recommend them more. I was greeted very quickly and kindly, though I sadly didn't catch the first gentleman's name since my nerves were flying off the walls. Overall had an amazing experience, wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected and everyone I spoke to was very friendly! Great vibes, great work. Thank you!

Travel here for Rufus, the piercer. Have personally been pierced by him, family members have went, and I recommend to anyone that I know of who talks to me about piercings. Rufus is very professional. We've all had zero issues with the healing process. Great work. He explains everything thoroughly and is very helpful. Looking forward to returning for my next peircing!
Amber Maroney — 5/5 (via Google)
Rufus is awesome! Had him do my septum again as well as my Madonna. Very easy to get along with and being able to laugh and joke around makes it even better. 100% will be going back to him! As for the space. It’s perfect! Clean, followed all sanitary procedures. All staff I passed were friendly with smiles and welcoming hospitality. Highly highly recommended!
