Customer Reviews for Pavillion Barbers
Randall Robin — 5/5 (via Google)
So glad to have found a straight up barber shop and the wait time was only a couple of minutes! For decades I've gone to either a salon or chain shop and paid too much as a result. And having lived near and driven by Pavillion Barbers for 10+ years that's a lot of missed opportunities. Rick is a professional and recognizing me as a new client we struck a brief conversation as he welcomed me. After that I pointed to a picture of what I wanted and he went to work. Holding up the mirror to show me how it looked I asked him to go a little shorter on the sides and in less than a minute my haircut was done. As mentioned in previous reviews, the clippers vac away the scratchy hairs that have always been a nuisance. Great invention by Rick. Looking forward to the next cut and getting to know him a little better because I know he has stories to tell. Lastly, I'll see him before the next cut to get a few business cards if they are available so I can pass them out. Clarification: I believe the cut was $20 plus a moustache trim and a hair product so it was about $30 total and I tipped on top of that.

My god, this man is efficient. I watched the family in front of me walk in, and they were done in no time. My own undercut trim took less than five minutes. Exactly what I was looking for, and quick about it, too!

This is a for-real barbershop, nor some unisex corporate hairdresser place. This is an old fashioned barbershop, a masculine place, good place to talk sports and politics. I'm glad I can take my grandson there. Lots of father, son, grandson business; I've seen 3 generations get a haircut. Mom's can bring their sons and Rick always has a piece of candy for any kids who drop by, whether they get a haircut or not. One of the best things is that Rick, the owner, invented a system to vacuum the hair as it's cut. It doesn't go down your neck! You can go for a haircut in the middle of the day and not have to deal with the itching. The cost is just fine; $20 covers a good haircut and a tip. (Yes, you are supposed to tip your barber.) Rick and Keith are both really good barbers; I'd say try both of them out and decide who you like best. 6/20/25 Well, here's an update after 8 years. This is still the best place in town to get a haircut. Rick is by himself now, no other barbers. A man's haircut is $30, he's had to raise his prices over the years. Rick is a professional barber who does a superb job. Go see him for a real haircut.

Ric(k) was very nice and quick at the cut. The shop was actually closed but he saw me looking puzzled and opened, offering to get me “fixed up” before he left. His Ric-Vac vacuums in the hair as it cuts. A bit like stepping into Doc’s workshop - no DeLorean in sight. Thanks Ric
