Better haircut here than you will get from somewhere that costs twice as much. Only $10! Despite what the cost might make you assume, Taka is very skilled.

I live in Albany and I drive 40 minutes to his shop. Best hair cut.

Absolutely amazing work at a great price! I recently moved to the area and this shop came highly recommended. My hair and beard have never looked better! Update: I have continued to go to Philomath Barber Shop and I have never been disappointed. I am able to adjust my beard style depending on the season and he does an amazing job adjusting with me. Update: still going and still loving my beard and hair cuts

I don't often leave reviews, but this is a great barber. He does a good job, he doesn't waste time, and he knows what he's doing. I can't believe he only charges $10. I always call ahead to make an appointment.

There are 'two best parts', #1- call ahead for an appointment- NO waiting, you're in and he is ready to go! #2- price, you gotta tip this guy VERY nicely as even with a 'healthy tip' I pay less than my past place, which was okay but never the same person and sometimes I'd be waiting a while. I really like using the SAME person as I did get one cut WAY off from what I wanted before at my old place- just once but... Not Taka, he listens and does it right!
