There are nail salons, and then there is Poppy & Monroe—a place where beauty is treated as a craft, not a transaction. Without exaggeration, it is the best nail salon I have ever been to. Alissa is a true magician. I have never experienced cuticle work like this in my life—meticulous, precise, and completely pain-free. Her Russian manicure–style cuticle removal was flawless, leaving my nails refined, elegant, and genuinely the most beautiful they’ve ever been. Every detail felt intentional, unhurried, and expertly executed. Their reputation is well earned. Appointments are coveted and the wait list is long. I was on it while visiting Nashville for a short time, so when Karen, the owner, texted me with last-minute availability, it felt less like a scheduling update and more like an invitation. I was so grateful I could make it work—this level of personal care and communication is increasingly rare. My only regret is time. I didn’t have enough of it to experience their dry pedicure, which I’ve since learned is nothing short of life-changing, or to explore the many other services they offer—services I would happily book in a heartbeat. I’m genuinely sad I live in New York and not Nashville. If I ever “make it big,” I will gladly fly in every six weeks just to sit in Alissa's chair. She would be worth the trip alone. Maybe I'll get lucky and Karen will open up a second location here in Northport, NY. Long Island ladies would flock to her like bees to nectar. Some salons you visit. Others quietly ruin all the rest. Poppy & Monroe is firmly the latter.

I had a lovely experience with Chapman at Poppy & Monroe. She had incredible attention to detail for my nail shape and design for both my manicure and pedicure. The space is also gorgeous and it was nice to be able to order from the coffee shop next door and have it delivered.

I’ve been coming to Poppy and Monroe for a few months now, and I’ve had exceptional service every time. I come for sugaring, and if you’re looking for a great sugaring experience, this is definitely the place to go. For consistently smooth results with less skin irritation, you truly get what you pay for. I would highly recommend Tara, not only for her excellent service, but also for the fun, comfortable atmosphere she brings to what can be an awkward situation.

A pampering boutique experience. Dazzle Dry pedicure with Donna was relaxing and luxurious. From the comfortable chairs to the great playlist, the salon was fantastic.
