Barber shop for affordable and stylish women's haircuts? Absolutely!! I’m so impressed with this barbershop! John did an absolutely phenomenal job with my short hair - he really understood how to work with my hair’s natural texture and gave me a cut that’s both chic and incredibly easy to maintain. That’s not always easy to find! What really stands out is how friendly and passionate the entire staff is about their craft. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and that energy makes the whole experience so much better. As someone who’s watched this East Side neighborhood evolve over the years, it’s wonderful to see third-generation locals opening up a salon to serve this community. They’re clearly invested in being part of the neighborhood, not just doing business here. And let’s talk about the price - $45 for a women’s cut is literally half what those fussy, over-the-top salons charge, and honestly, the quality is just as good if not better. The location is perfect too, right in the heart of East Austin with plenty of great coffee shops and food trucks nearby. Highly recommend - I’ll definitely be back!

Ive been getting my haircut when John G. A little over a year now and he’s never let me down. I used to get my haircut every other month or so but now I look forward to seeing John at least once a month now. Not only does he have the skills and knowledge to make you look good — he’s got the passion as well. I’ve brought my daughter’s to get their hair trimmed and john goes above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and happy with their experience. He loves what he does and it shows it in the details, I’m proud to call him my barber. Profile hair studio is located in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of places to hang out while you wait for your appointment. Whether you’re looking for a drink or something to eat there’s plenty of great food trucks around the studio and everyone is friendly. I love the vibe this place has and I can’t remember the last time I truly felt relaxed inside a hair studio. This place is great, I highly recommend coming by.

Absolutely love coming here! Everyone really makes it a priority that you are welcomed and comfortable. I’ve been getting my haircut from John for over a year now and it’s been so amazing having someone go above and beyond for me! Highly recommend giving these guys a shot!

I have been wanting my hair cut in a specific way for a long amount of time, as soon as I came and got it done over at Profile Hair Studios- I NEVER LOOKED BACK!! My barber was John Guerrero and let’s just say that labeling the experience as amazing would be an absolute understatement! This man took his time, listened and precisely made sure that I was taken care of the entirety of my appointment. Not only did I get the exact cut I requested for, I also left with a parade of confidence!! I wouldn’t want to have my hair cut anywhere else:)

Our usual haircut place was in the process of moving locations but so thankful we found John at Profile Hair Studios. We were so used to the stylist rushing through our boys haircuts & then later finding parts that we had to fix on our own. But John is great with our boys and really takes the time to get their haircuts just the way we like. 100% would recommend him to others and he will officially be the barber for my boys. Also love love love the location.
