I started going to Pura Vida after my sister’s wedding, and have been a client for almost four years. So when I needed to book a hair stylist for my wedding, Pura Vida was a no brainer. James did my hair for my rehearsal dinner and my wedding, and it was flawless. He was incredible during every trial, he created the best pony ever, and my bun for the wedding day was show stopping. James and his team are exceptional stylists. My bridesmaids were obsessed with their hair, as was I. Could not recommend Pura Vida more! Thank you James and team!

I have been going to Pura Vida for a long time because James is the best. He takes the time to know you and your hair and listens to what you want and what works best for each client. His salon is welcoming and I always get compliments for the cut and color of my hair. After years of searching for a good hairstylist, I finally found a wonderful one!!!

I had an amazing experience at Pura Vida! I was lucky to get a same day appointment, just moved to Dallas and my hair was in desperate need. My hair stylist was Amanda and she did an absolute fantastic job with the hair color, glossing and hair cut. Highly recommend. Thanks

I’ve been coming here since 2019! Since coming here I’ve gotten a bob x2 after having my hair down to my mid back, gotten a wolf cut, more hair colors than I can count. As a matter of fact I liked the services so much I became determined the join the pura vida family and got engaged to the owner after he did my hair for years 😂

James and his staff are the absolute best! Beautiful salon and quality of work from all of the stylists is amazing! Very competitive/reasonable prices for Uptown Dallas and it is very clear they care a lot about their customers and employees!
