Queenie is the absolute BEST. So kind, flexible, and has always managed to make my nails look better than the sample photo I give her. My nails are stylish, longer, and stronger because of her! My forever nail artist/doctor! Queenie takes every vision I bring her and somehow makes it better. Not only are her designs insane, but my nails are healthier and last longer than they ever have. I have been going to Queenie for years and I can confidently say she is the best nail tech I have ever had and I’ve tried a lot. What really sets Queenie apart is that she doesn’t just care about how the nails look (which are always flawless), she genuinely cares about the health and longevity of your nails. At this point I literally call her my nail doctor. My nails last longer, feel stronger, and still look amazing weeks later. If you’re lucky enough to get an appointment with Queenie, you’re in the best hands possible. There’s good nail techs… and then there’s Queenie.

I have been seeing Queenie for the past 3-4 years for manicures. Her nail art is BEYOND. She is so attentive to the health of my nails and is always down for any design I bring and puts her own spin on things. She is incredibly creative and talented! Thanks to her expertise and patience, she’s helped me grow my natural nails out so long and strong with gel x, something I thought I’d never do after a nail psoriasis diagnosis. She’s also manufactured her own line of nail products, which im sure helps in keeping my nail designs in tact; my manicure is lasts so long I can go up to six weeks or so! For context, I work in an office for 8 months, then on outdoor festival grounds for 4 months using power tools and in dirty situations, so I’m always using my hands and my designs ALWAYS last. I’ve also gotten pedicures with the other staff at the salon. Everyone has been there for as long as I’ve gone. Rachel (Queenie’s sister) is great as well, and she works so fast! To book with the salon, you have to call their number. If you want to book with Queenie, you can text her phone number in her Instagram bio. Queenie, thank you for always making me feel like the coolest girl in dc! ✨

Queenie’s work is EXCELLENT! I have been going to her since 2020, and am always beyond satisfied with the services. She is the most talented nail artist in the DMV hands down, and the best work I’ve ever seen! She can do ANY design and can help you learn what looks best for you and works with your nails. She also cares about nail health! Queenie and her staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the facility is clean and inviting. I cannot recommend Queenie’s enough!

I’ve never been one to get my nails done often but man am I now. I love the work that Queenie and Rachel do. The pictures do not do it justice. I’m able to show up with inspiration pictures and Rachel will just magically transform my nails according to how I want them. They’re perfect every single time. Everybody is so kind, appointments are super easy to book, and the salon is very clean and well-kept. Rachel’s very meticulous and makes sure to get everything just right from the glue to the cuticle work to the polish. I truly love getting my nails done now. I hope this review convinces you to try Queenies out too, it is so so worth it.
